Jerry, basically it is a course that is given by a trainer. But we have a kind of a fixed group now, that have followed several courses (there is no examen or anything like that. It is really based on challenging the dogs and improve their confidence/initiative). The people, basically just follow the dog, but don't steer them or influence them. You just observe your dog and try to understand their body language.
Mom2shelby, Skippie is also like that, however he comes back quickly 😉 (he can disaapear very quickly but is also back very quickly). During the tracking they are always on a tracking line (3-5 m line).It is really nice to spend time with your dog in the woods and challenge them :).
Awww that sounds like such a great way to spend time together and build a bond, I love what you are doing with your pups!
