These videos just have me grinning ear to ear! Skippie is ADORABLE!! And sister Sira is BEAUTIFUL! I love that they get along so well!
You are the PERFECT forever home for Skippie! A very lucky dog to be with you and Sira!
It doesn't look like Skippie is javing any trouble walking on hardwood floors either! That's great! If he ever does slip, you can always get scatter rugs for traction if necessary.
I sure want to jump through the screen and kiss that sweet face!!! Give him a kiss for me, okay? And Sira too!
Look forward to more updates with lots of pictures and videos!!
Hugs to all!!
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle too!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Thank you Benny55! We are also very happy with both of them. I already learned more from Sira then I could ever from humans...And Skippie will be a master as well. I will kiss and hug him for you! Indeed Sira is a great sister or mother (she is about 9 and Skippie 2 years old).
The floor is actually vinyl and is not as smooth as it looks and sound. Normally when they are in the playing mood I bring them to the hallway, where there is carpet (or outside of course). But like you said, I never saw him slip...he often let himself fall, but he does that everywehere. When he sits next to you on the couch, he just let himself fall on your lap, upside down (I'll see if we can tape it...so funny).
Here is another one with the falling. It was just for the video...normally I would take them to the hallway.
Making me smile non-stop over here!!! I love watching these two!! Sweetest thing ever!!
Soooo glad this is working out so beautifully!
Yeah, the lessons from our dogs are full of enlightenment and wisdom! And to have a tripawd dog in your life along with Sira...OMD..life lessons unleashed!!!
To see Skippe so happy and so loved just melts my heart.!
Look forward to seeing more!
Hugs to all!

Thanks for the kind words . Yes they are a beautiful couple. Yesterday my girlfriend went with Sira to the vet (yearly senior check up) and I took Skippie for a walk. So nice to see when the 2 got reunited after a few hours...sooo happy.
I also discovered that in certain light, Skippie has a very nice "mask" almost like batman
What gorgeous eyes!

Just a litle update and a new vid. Skippie is doing very well and he is best mates with Sira. Still training since he is quite afraid/anxious about most other dogs and strange men expecially (barking and sometimes running towards a person to make them go away). It will need time and patience for him to trust people and dogs again (I mean he was caught by dog catchers and likely did not had very positive experiences with humand and dogs. His ear had been torn by other dogs. Luckily he is still a happy dog and likes to learn new things).
He is one of the few dogs who gets Sira on her back 😉
Awww love this update! Skippie found the best pack ever!

This video comforts me in know my guy, Smokey will be just fine. He is in surgery as I type to have his front left leg amputated. I must say this may be harder on me than Smokey. Thanks for posting this Skippie has a great family.
Thank you guys :). Benny55 you almost had me crying. I agree Skippie is a very good example of how a tripawd can just do anything. He is faster than most dogs on 4 legs. He likes to ambush Sira and uses her harness to pull her down ;). And at other times Sira initiates the play. They are a perfect couple and we are really glad it works out this way. They never fight and always tolerate eachother. Since Sira is estimated to be 9 and Skippie 2,5 years old, it is more like mother and son.
He is very inspirational indeed also for us human....he just enjoys life as much as he can!
Dianef, I hopes it works out really well for you and Smokey! And I hope Smokey will be like Skippie afterwards :).
