Thank you both. I know I can't change much at this point. I'd take him in, but we were just there Wednesday. I'll just have to keep hoping, and see how next Thursday goes. The new harness came in, but I have to get hone to try it.

I totally ditto Jerry and Sally... and totally ditto what you are feeling. Once something like this happens, you worry over every thing, large or small. You worry about things that might have gotten your attention before, but didn't panic over. I think it is hard to not worry especially when you have dealt with that poopicon "c" stuff.

I was fortunate with Huck in the sense that his amputation was due to traumatic injury, but in a similar sense we become hyper sensitive to anything out of the ordinary. They are our babies. It is hard not to worry after going through everything you have gone through. If it is any comfort to you at all, dogs get lumpy and bumpy as they age. Of all the lumps and bumps I have seen with the vets I worked with, surgeries I have assisted, almost every single one was just that, a benign lump. If it started growing, we would surgically remove while it was small and easily removed. That was mainly because if they started to grow large, the surgery got harder because you need enough skin to close it up. That's it.

They will probably do a fine needle aspirate on the lumps and take a look at the cells under a microscope. If they do recommend removal, they will biopsy just to be certain. That is standard procedure. It does not mean that they think it is cancer, it is just a smart precaution even if they never had cancer.

None of this is going to stop your worry, but hopefully it will calm you a little. Sending you HUGE hugs... breathe mama.. I truly believe you will all be ok sp_hearticon2sp_hearticon2sp_hearticon2

Thank you. He does have several lumps already. My other dog is even lumpier than Riot. I just got a new one checked on him a few weeks ago.

Riot's getting his scans next week. I'll see if they want to do a needle biopsy as well.

It hasn't helped that work has been extra busy and stressful lately.

Ha!! Are you doing work that involves FY 19??? My worst week of the year....dang.

Keep breathing,  enjoy your weekend.  Riot knows nothing,  he just wants his usual loving.

Fall is finally breaking here after the longest stretch of 90s I've ever seen.

Let work go if you can,  and enjoy your now time💞💓💞

Extra hugs❤

No, I'm in accounting. Sure seems like it's been a crazy month for a lot of people.

I work with a fleet of vehicles for the VA, we just ended FY 19 last week... crunch smiley5

OMD it's COLD this morning! We just broke the longest heat wave I have ever seen in KY. We went from 70 degree mornings to 50. Yesterday was the first day that the high was 73 instead of 95. I kinda wish we would have graduated into that like normal, lol. I am a warm weather person, so all this hot weather didn't bother me a bit. I had to dig out my heavier pajamas yesterday, lol.

Bo is a cooler weather dog I do believe. The summer did not impress him at all but last night he was enjoying sitting out in the yard with us.

Sending you hugs... I hope you are able to have a relaxing, enjoyable weekend.

Thank you. Riot slept well last night and is much happier this morning. That's perfect, as we have PT soon.

It is cold! It's in the low 40s right now. I'm more of a warm weather friend, but my family is here.

Riot loves cold weather. He channels his Malamute side, and dogs snow holes. I had to dig my coat out yesterday. No down needed yet. It'll be fluctuating weather before winter really sets in. Riot is really blowing fur, which usually means it'll be very cold.

Riot and Wyatt Ray are twinsies! He loves the cold whereas we flee from it in our RV every year. I think Wyatt wants you to adopt him so he can finally have a really cold winter!

Glad that your boy is doing well and hoppy.

I think he'd have fun for a few days, but three legs and ice don't mix.

Riot had a really go PT session and massage.
