Morning folks!
Yesterday was a good one for check ups as Racquette's surgeon got to see her and gave her excellent marks on her progress! Plus….we will not need to see a specialist for rehab since I have the right equipment at home (a pool and a FitPaws peanut!) already at home! Once those stitches come out….full steam ahead…although I think Rac is already thinking that way!!! She loves the FitPaws peanut….especially since she get to nibble on GoldFish (the cracker kind!) as she does her exercises.
Her appetite has returned….so now I have an idea of how she adjusts to chemo….which is fine….she can always be enticed to eat with NEAT FOODS!
I decided to post Rac's story on FaceBook last night and many of my friends were very happy to learn of her progress. I also post to a select group of friends who get to see her pictures, and are interested in the details of the "journey". Some have gone though cancer journeys with their "kids" themselves…others are purely supporters….either way…it's nice that others care.
I'd like to include a picture in my blog….any advice on how to do that would be great!

Well, first you need to create a blog!
Then you can upload images to your Media Library and add them to your blog posts. Complete details for getting started with your Tripawds Blog can be found in the various Help Videos.
If you are talking about including pictures here in your forum posts, follow the instructions for adding photos in the Tech Support forum . If you don't already share photos somewhere online, starting a blog will give you a place to upload them.
If you're still online, drop by the chat room and we'd be happy to walk you through any of this.

That's excellent news that Racquette is doing so well! It's always a good sign if they are hungry!
Keep it up Racquette!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
@Wendy Happy to help! Any questions, just ask in the tech support forum or watch the blog help videos.

Wendy, do you by any chance bring Racquette to San Diego and/or have a friend here? Because I was walking my dog, Abby, at Fiesta Island here on Monday and met a woman who was very interested in my tripawd. She said she had a friend with a dog who had just been through an amp and she mentioned the dog's name is Racquette. (I was thinking "Racket" at the time... but how many Racket/Racquette tripawds can there be out there??) She said she was happy to see Abby racing around having a good time, since it gave her hope for her friend's dog.
Anyway, hope to see many more good updates about Racquette here on the site and maybe we'll even see you down at Fiesta Island some time.
Jackie, Abby's mom
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
