Awww, bless you Brandy. Been offline for a couple of days, so just checking in and delighted to find that things are going so well.

Ruby, Staffy, born June 2022, became a Tripawd, November 2023, adopted January 2024.
Also Angel Tripawd Meg (aka The Megastar), who died in April 2023, aged 14, after seven glorious years on three, and Angel Staffies Elsie Pie and Bille. In the pawprints of giants...
At the vet with Brandy.
The dead skin on her leg is not looking good. Her dead skin on her butt isn't too good either.
And she has some fluid retention.
And she has a fever. 104.2. Cats' normal fever can be up to 102.
So she doesn't have a high fever.
But they may give her more antibiotics.
They are not doing anything with her today. Just told me to keep an eye on it. And come back on Monday.
They are giving me more antibiotics in a syringe for her, some antibiotic cream for the infection/dead skin area, and are giving me some appetite enhancer pills for her to get her to eat more.
They are giving her a pill today, then it will be for every 3 days.
I'm sorry to hear about yet another vet visit. Did they use the term "necrosis"? It's not unusual for a large VAS tumour and I believe there have been some dogs here who had it after amputation.
Mona's lump was golf ball size in less than a week before her leg was amputated. The leg pathology showed "numerous areas of necrosis now progressing to liquefaction".
It sounds like Brandy is under good care. I hope things improve. More and more I think life is a roller coaster. Take care.
