Just adding to some of the other suggestions . The stinkier the food the better and wet food would be the best if you can get her to eat any. I got smelly canned fish foods chicken and herring, tuna and salmon etc. Anything with a lot of smell is more helpful to get them to eat.
Also sardine water, tuna juice ,she might lick those right up for her moisture. We syringed medicine in both of those to mask the medicine.
We also have use have turkey and gravy baby food with no vegetables just turkey and gravy , chicken and gravy hasn't worked as well for us. Put on a plate or finger to entice her.
Are you pilling her no problems? Our gaba was a capsule. We opened the capsule in a bowl and would add a little sardine water or tuna juice and then syringe that back up. To syringe it to Purrkins. If you are good pilling her great if not thats another suggestion , if you are comfortable syringing her. We just have to be careful not to aspirate them. Just so she gets her meds on time.
We added miralax 1/16th tsp on the 6th day and 1/8 tsp on the 7th day. We got BM day 8. We mixed that with turkey and gravy baby food he licked it right up.
Recovery defiantely is not easy, hang in there and we will do our best to help .
I second Kerren ,I would call the vet again today if she hasnt changed .Went pee or eaten any wet food.
Hugs to you both
Holly and Purrkins
Well, I have some not-so-great news on Brandy. I am having to take her back to the vet. She will stay there over the weekend.
She has not moved since I gave her the meds this morning. And her front legs were twitching. She has also not eaten, drank, nor went to the bathroom since Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning.
At the vet, she will be given IV fluids. They will also try to get her to eat, drink, and potty.
Please keep Brandy in your prayers! 💜
Oh no! Poor girl. Well she's going to get the care she needs to help her feel good again. Please keep us posted OK? We are thinking of you both.

Oh no , that truly is the best place for her she will get hydrated and get the medication needed and be monitored. She will get feeling better, so glad you called and took her in you did the right thing! I feel bad for both of you!
We will worry with you ,sending you our strength and positive thoughts and prayers!
Keep us posted.
I will be thinking of you and Brandy, of course! The vets will be able give her the care she needs, especially in terms of hydration and so on, to get her feeling better. Take good care of yourself, too, okay?
Sending hugs,

If she is dehydrated, then those IV fluids will have her feeling better super quick

Ugh! This is why we call the recovery period a roller coaster full of ups and downs!
Yes, Brandy is exactly where she needs to be. Fluids reslly do so much good! We've seen "fluid visits" to the hospital happen from time to time during recovery and they really do help get everybody back in track. Good for you for you for being such a good advocate.
Keep us posted. Get some rest. We'll all be sending pawsitive energy!
Hugs!

Oh good, I'm happy to hear she's getting the care she needs. I was getting ready to send your vet a rat offered up by Mona's buddy Eli but it would make it across the border.
You are a great kitty mama in knowing things weren't quite right. I'm sure you do miss her and I hope she comes home with more energy and a bit of her cattyness back.

Called at about 10a cst this morning. Brandy hadn't had any improvements.
I know she was there less than 24 hours at the time I called, but figured she may show some kind of improvement, like perk up or something.
I can not wait til Monday to hear if she has had some improvements.
