This is such a horrible story!

Mima was abused by her owner for who knows how long.  Her "owner" literally hacked legs off.  Thankfully she has been removed from this situation and she has been taken to Germany where a vet has taken on the job of trying to get Mima to walk again.

I have never cried so hard in my life.  The person that did this should be shot!

That has to be the saddest, cruelest thing I have ever read. Mima seems so sweet and trusting even now. How horrible. I can't believe the sadistic owner faces no punishment.

I have to wonder whether trying to rehabilitate her is the right thing to do at this point. (Not saying it is not, but don't know if it is .)

Can't read it.  I cannot imagine a human that can do something like that.  In my book they do not deserve to live.

The astounding thing to me was that Mima wags her tail at people and doesn't even act like anything is wrong.

I agree that the person who did this should have his arms and legs hacked off one inch at a time by a sadistic 400# monster.

But Mima...what a testimony to the spirit of a dog!

This is such an incredibly heartbreaking story....I am so hauntingly disturbed by what I read (but couldn't read too much - I would be vomiting at any moment now.)  I'm at a loss for words.  What makes it even worse is how sweet this little angel is and how she seems so loving despite what happened to her.  I agree with everyone - torture this sick bastard and hack off every limb he has - I'll even go a step further and say that he should be castrated too.  Make him pay for what he did to this sweet little angel.  I am going to have nightmares tonight.....

My sweet golden Mackenzie.  She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2  although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home.  She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009.  She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes.  I love you Mackenzie!

To see such a loving soul still able to trust people after such a sick thing like that makes us believe that indeed Dog and God are one. For no other being could be so forgiving of the horrible behavior that some humans are capable of, and still able to trust them.

My start in life was ruff but nothing compared to poor Mina. All I can say is what keeps me going when things get tough because of  my hard start in life, is knowing that there are so many good, loving people out there like my Tripawds family. Thank you for caring so much.

Me either - clicked and backed out knowing I couldn't handle reading it.  When you've had an abused one, it's too, too emotionally hard. But I concur with everyone on the hatred I have for sick people like that.
