Hello, I'm Morgan a lurcher (some of you I know already) who became a tripod in January this year after many problems and 2 big operations on my cruciate ligament. I hadn't been off lead in the 18 months I'd been with my family but after I became a tripod things certainly changed! I run free everyday now and am making up for lost time and sometimes I don't go back to my mum as quick as I should
This is me shortly after my op, still quite swollen and sore.
My first off lead run!
Hi Morgan!!
He's a lovely boy. Isn't it amazing how they bounce back and become active again?
We look forward to hearing your experiences and any tips you may have.
Hugs

Cool. Do you hunt, lure course, race? or all of the above. Radar (borzoi)had just earned his JC and we were going to start ASFA lure coursing with him this fall. I feel the atheleticism and physical condition has really helped him to bounce back as quickly as he has.

Oooh thanks for that!
Borzoid, I would love him to lure course but not sure he'd be allowed with his "disability" I am going to a Lure coursing day in october run by the rescue he came from so hope to let him have a go.
I did take him to a race day at a track back in June and he won his tripod race.
OK, I saw the muzzles in the slide show and thought you might be into racing. I wouldn't want to compete with 4 legged hounds in lure coursing trials. The courses are over 700 meters long (sometimes over 1000) and that would just be too much. I don't want to hurt him just let him have some fun. As soon as the weather cools off one of the local clubs has fun runs. Radar absolutely loves lure coursing so I'm hoping to let him have a try at it as a tripawd.
