Jaxon is an 8 year old lab mix who has always been an energetic crazy guy. As my husband was driving him to board as we took a family vacation, he jumped out of the window of the moving vehicle, shattering his left rear leg. Our vet was unable to repair the limb and sent us to a specialist. Eventually, we made the decision to amputate the leg. He is recovering amazingly well in my opinion! Thanks for all of the advice so far and in the future! It's so comforting to have a place to go during this process.
Welcome Jaxon. Glad to hear you're doin' good!
Take it easy for a while, then you can focus on regaining strength with some starter exercises . Or, check out the Maggie Moo Fund for Tripawd Rehab - to take advantage of a free evaluation by a certified therapist (CCRT or CCRP ).
