Wow, these are amazing. Thanks for sharing. I could see many lung mets in the third xray more clearly than the first two. Amazing shots. Absolutely tragic and devastating, too. Good thing you're up for the fight and so is Sassy! You can do this!

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!
Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. I can't believe how well she is doing. Active etc. I don't know what is doing it if its the Apocaps I started last week or what but I am going to continue.

I'm so glad Sassy is doing well. She has a great dogmom! 
Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14
Hi Michelle and Sassy. If loving support is a drug, you may have just been overdosed! Still navigating my way around this site and just now discovered your "situation". Feeling very hopeful for Sassy as her attitude sounds like she up for the challenge. You said it best that out would keep on fighting until Sassy didn't want to fight anymore.
Jerry is always spot on when he reminds us that our dogs are acting the same after a "diagnosis". - they don't know anything is different and don't care! We sure can learn a lot from our dogs on how to deal with challenges!
Surrounding you with love and doing everything we can to keep you and Sassy from harm.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

I am so very sorry that you are going through this--damn mets!! It sounds like you have a great plan-what a lucky furbaby Sassy is to have such a loving family. I know how hard this all is and I always try to remember everyone's advice about being more dog--so hard sometimes. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Our beautiful Lily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg on 12/14/11 at age 8 and had amp on 12/16/11. She completed 5 rounds of carbo. She was so brave and kicked cancer's butt daily! She lived life fully for 4 years, 3 months, and 15 days after her amp. My angel is a warrior princess. I miss her so much.
Sassy is very lucky to have such a great mommy like you. Both you and Sassy are fighters so I have no doubt that Sassy is going to do great. With you by her side, how can she not. Thinking about you both and sending lots of love your way.

Got home from work tonight and had you and Sassy Sugar Bear on my mind--know you two best buddies are together and all is well. Sassy's just thumbing her nose (or paw) at ll his cancer crap and she's just too darn sassy to let anything interfere with her splendid joy of life and the happness of iknowing you are by her side all the way!

She is doing great Sally. Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts & prayers. She ran like there wasn't anything wrong at all today. Did it a couple times tonight too. So just keep praying and we are going to keep fighting and we may have a long while yet (we hope)

It makes me smile to know Sassy is still enjoying life. Remember, regardless of stats, there is no time stamp on their butts.
