She's so cute. You guys are looking good in your shirts!
After Abby's first chemo she would only eat plain pasta. We found that trying to tempt her taste buds with the usual tasty stuff was not the way to go. She just wanted something very plain. (we only found that by accident as we were making pasta for ourselves and offered her a bite of a noodle.)
Hope she does well! BITE THAT DARN CANCER, GABY!

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Well, I think I figured out the food thing for tonight. We'll see what tomorrow brings. Last week she loved ground turkey and this week wants absolutely nothing to do with it. The protein choice for tonight was boiled chicken, we'll see how long that lasts.
So, I have a couple of questions and just wondering what others may have experienced.
1. Gaby has been sleeping alot during the day...so not her normal behavior. But during the night time, she is constantly moving around trying to get comfortable. We have not given her Tramadol in a couple of days and she does not seem to be in pain.
2. She did have chemo this past Friday and has been sleeping alot. I was starting to see some improvement and some of her crazy behaviors last Wednesday and Thursday, but since chemo it seems all she does is sleep.
3. And the licking. She licks her other leg alot or the bed that she is lying in.
Just wondering what your thoughts may be on these concerns.
Thanks,
Joanie
