Dearest Sally and Hannah-
I amso, so sorry to hear about Bodie. How wonderful to not only have him in your life, but know that he held a piece of your Mom's heart also which made him doubly special. He is now back with your Mom and , OH, the stories he will tell. If you listen close you can hear them giggling together.
Thinking of you and holding you close in my thoughts.
Love-
Luanne and Spirit Shooter
Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.
Sally, What a beautiful tribute to Bodie. I am so very sorry for your loss--a well-lived life, but still the pain of missing him. I know that he is with your mom and she is snuggling with him. You gave him such a wonderful life-you and Happy Hannah are in our thoughts.
Joa and Lily
Our beautiful Lily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg on 12/14/11 at age 8 and had amp on 12/16/11. She completed 5 rounds of carbo. She was so brave and kicked cancer's butt daily! She lived life fully for 4 years, 3 months, and 15 days after her amp. My angel is a warrior princess. I miss her so much.
Dear Sally and Hannah,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss of Bodie. What an adorable and special little boy. He was well cared and loved deeply by you and your Mom, you can tell by his sweet face. You are in our thoughts and we send a big hug for you both.
Esther and her Snoop
What a wonderful life! It must be deeply satisfying to know that Bodie got to live such a long and loved life. But we all know that no matter how much time we have with them it is never enough so there is always that horrible pain and sadness of missing them.
Big hugs for you.
Karen and Spirit Magnum
Magnum: 30th May 2002 to 5th May 2012. Lost her back left leg to osteosarcoma on 5th Sep 2011. Lung mets found on 20th Mar 2012 but it was bone mets in the hip that ended her brave battle. Magnum's motto - "Dream as if you'll live for ever, live as if you'll die today" (James Dean). Loyal, loving, courageous and spirited to the end. My beloved heart dog, see her memoirs from Rainbow Bridge ...... http://princess.....pawds.com/
Oh Sally!!! (((((((()))))))) I don't know how I missed this thread! I'm so sorry for your, and your furkids, loss! I lost my heart dog, Mojo, way too young, 10 days before Christmas in 2001, and I know it's almost a double whammy at this time of year. But SIXTEEN???? That's like, 112 in people years!! WOW! Truly amazing, and what a gift! Merry Christmas to you and your pack. Raise a glass or have a cookie for Bodie...I'm sure he has plenty to share where he is now
Aww, much love from A'Tuin and I.
A'Tuin's story can be found on my personal blog along with a dash of my life and poetry.
I said goodbye to my puppy love on 5/15/14 after more than tears years of the greatest love I've ever known.
Oh Sally! Sorry I've missed this. I'm too so sorry for your loss. What a cute little dog and thanks for the videos! As many say here, now your mother and him are together again and Bodie is full of positive memories from you and Hannah to share with your mother. Sending you and Hannah hugs!
