So shocked like everyone else...thinking it was good.
Cannot imagine the courage it took to let us know what happened. Haley clearly was a courageous girl and actually was recovering from the infection! As others had said, cancer has no rules and doesn't fight fair and is ugly and heartless.
BUT NOTHING CAN DIMINISH THE LOVE HALEY WAS SURROUNDED WITH DURING NER ALL TO SHORT TIME ON EARTH. She didn't let any disease touch her soul and her spirit. Her energy is infinite and bright and cannot be harmed.
She knew ow much you loved her. I know during the last several weeks you crammed a lifetime of loving and spoiling into her every moment and she will always carry that with her.
I'm so sorry, so very sorry. We can only say words and do nothing to take your pain away. Our hearts ache.
She is on the other side of life now in an energy form that is different from our form on earth. You will still feel her presence as a loving bond like that always stays connected.
We are holding yo dearly an gently in our hearts.

Erin, I am so so sorry to hear this. Rough news. Everyone was fighting so hard for her. It's clear you did everything possible, including love your girl right through the end. I am so sorry for your loss, the emptiness she leaves behind. (((HUGS)))

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I was hoping Hayley would pull through her infection. Run free Hayley.
