My Dearest Friends,

According to how people measure time on earth, today marks my six month Heavenniversary, time flies!  But we have something called timelessness, it is continuous celebration here!  I have met a lot of old and new tripawd alumni.  We just play, have fun, and have even more fun ...

Window-conferencing is always on.  Open yours, look up to the busy starry sky, you'll find us all winking back.

"Twinkle, twinkle, little star"  by Jane Taylor
...
When the blazing sun is gone,
When he nothing shines upon,
Then you show your little light,
Twinkle, twinkle, all the night.

Then the traveller in the dark,
Thanks you for your tiny spark,
He could not see which way to go,
If you did not twinkle so.

In the dark blue sky you keep,
And often through my curtains peep,
For you never shut your eye,
Till the sun is in the sky.
...

Hugs always.
your old friend Genie, residing in Heaven since

Dance in the stars Genie, pain free.

Say hello to my angels if you should ever come across them & tell them we miss them just as your family misses you.

Oh Genie, what a beautiful poem, it made my Mom all watery-eyed. Hard to believe it's been that long. I know your Mom and friends miss you so much, but knowing that you are a star twinkling in the heavens is so comforting to humans. Thank you for sharing it. We love you.

Janie: will do, looking forward to meeting them! It is so big such a place, and so many of us!  Look up the sky, you'll see them smiling at you.

Jerry: You are one of the brightest stars up here.  Tell your mom to open her window, she will see us all party like there was no tomorrow.  In fact, that's right, no tomorrow but eternity.

This brought tears to my Mom's eyes, too.  Thank you for sharing this beautiful poem with us.  Everytime I look at the stars I will think of all the wonderful animals who have given us so much love and know that they are playing and smiling down upon us.

Oops! Our fault!  We were all playing and partying so hard up there that I think we might have been responsible for sending a meteor flashing across the northern sky Thursday (Nov 20) evening.Wink

Silly people! They are making a big deal out of it!

It has been 5 months and 1 day since Sasha headed towards the Rainbow Bridge.  I know Sasha and Genie are having fun together.  It's funny you speak about the stars and sky.  I truly believe that our loving pets are looking over us and they do not want us to forget.  This is why the sky is so bright.  Each star is a very special "tripawd" that has touched our lives in many ways.

"Please stay bright and never go out!"

You are gone but never forgotten!!

Aha!  So, it was you, Genie, and all the other tripawds up there partying and playing so hard you sent out that meteor!  We should have known this!
