Tex is at the vet for her surgery today! :( I'm so not ready to see her when she comes home. Prayers are welcome and appreciated!

We've got your back!

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!

UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

Good luck! Hang in there and remember, when you see how happy she is to see you, all you'll be able to think about is how great it is to have her back. There will be happiness all around!

Try not to worry too much...and when you see her...focus on her beautiful eyes and wagging tail.

Before you know it.....her being a tripawd will be the "new normal" for both of you.

OF course you are ready to have her come home!!!  You are ready to see her happy smile.. her waggin tail.. and her excitement to see her mamma!!!!

One thing I always tell people is don't focus on the missing limb.. focus on the fact that she is just so gawd dawg happy to see you!!!!!

Let us know how it goes... tell us of her recovery and give us some pictures..  we are all distant, cyber pawrents to all our tripawds here!!!

Christine.... with Franklin in her heart♥

Franklin, he was the Happiest Dog on Three Legs! Diagnosed 09/26/2012 with Osteosarcoma, amputated 12/4/2012.  Had a wonderful 5 1/2 months painfree until he ran for the Bridge on 5/15/2013.  Always in my heart, and always a guardian angel of my pack...   You can follow his Tripawd Adventures, before and after, in my blog, Frank'n'Farter!

DITTO!! DITTO,!! D I T T O!!!!!

All Tex knows is he's coming home to be loved and spoiled and get on with living life to the fullest! Yeah, he'll kow somethingis "dfferent" alright, that pa ful leg that he's been having to dealith these last couple of weeks is gone!!

And I can garnatee one thing, if roles were reversed and YOU were coming homd from the hospital, he would NOT even notice the incision...he wold just like your face and wag his tail off!!

You made a decision that was best for Tex! Good job mom!! Yeah, recovery is no picnic, but that's where we can all help. Kow that you are not alone and we are here for you.

Cannotwait to hear Tex is out of surgery and has started standing! YAAAAAAY Tex! You show 'e how it's done sweet boy!!

PLEASE update us when you can! And, the advice I always give to help calm your nereves.....eat CHOCOLATE, lots and lots of chocolate!

HUGS(((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))

UPDATE:

Tex is home and she is doing well! As you all have said she is nothing but wagging tail and kisses. I only cried a little bit when I saw her which is a huge improvement when I cried for days after the initial attack.

Thanks so much for all your support and kind words!!!
