Bio:

I have had Cage since he was 6 months old and he is now 9 years old. We live in Glendale, Arizona. On September 11, 2012, I took Cage to the vet due to a limp on his left leg that started around August 7th, went away, and then recurred around September 8th. At the vet visit, an x-ray was taken which showed significant proliferation around his shoulder bone leading to a diagnosis of osteosarcoma. On Monday, September 17th he had his leg amputated and I plan to treat with chemo as well. This was a tough decision, but believed to be the best given Cage's otherwise good health and the increasing pain associated with bone cancer.
