Hi, my 7 year old Lab, Bo, was recently diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma in his shoulder. My vet is recommending amputation of his left front leg due to the narrow margins for removal of the tumor. I’m looking for help dealing with this diagnosis and the difficult decision to remove his leg. I just want the best chance for him to live a long, cancer free, happy life. Any info on the process and recovery would be so welcome!
