I am the ower of Burghard Shepherds, based in central Florida. This is not a commercial enterprise, but rather a canine family. One of these black German Shepherds, Luna vom Burghard ("Luna"), was one of ten puppies born to my two German Shepherds imported from Germany, Eik and Kora, who were bred by me. Luna became a tripawd at the age of two years and her story is included here. I update her blog with other information about her parents, who went to the Rainbow Bridge in November 2010, Her sister, Xena, who went to the Rainbow Bridge on August 22, 2013, and her 8 living siblings, who are doing great. We all miss Luna very much.
