WTG, Zeus...keep eating and "trotting" and you will do just fine. 🙂 So happy that the surgery went well and hopefully your big brave boy will be home with you soon...he will be so glad to get home and I know you will be equally glad to have him back with you! Don't be surprised if he and you have a few down moments along the recovery journey...that is very typical...we all understand the sometimes roller coaster ride of healing as we have been there with our own beloved dog/s. That is what is so special about a site like this...everyone has been or is on the same journey and is here to support each other.
Many hugs to you and give Zeus a big hug from me when he gets home.

Thank you for the update on beautiful Zeus. So glad he's doing well! Glad they're being proactive with keeping him until they feel he's ready to come home even though it's hard waiting on your end. Stay calm and positive when he does get home. In a few days you will have much to celebrate as he shows you great progress. We're right here if you need anything!

Very glad to hear he's doing better each day! You have a great vet who's really looking out for him, and your sanity too, so that you have a strong boy on the road to recovery when he comes home. What a great Thanksgiving week reunion this will be!
