I am so sorry for your loss of sweet Brick. His big smile is indeed infectious and that's a beautiful picture of him to remember him. This part in our journey with our fur kids is the roughest and down rite sucks. Just know that you did everything you could to give Brick a fighting chance with this horrible disease. Brick knew how truly loved he was by the entire family...and yes the passing of special fur kids can bring strong men to tears. My husband who never cries also, cried for our Leland when he passed.
It's really hard for the humans who are left behind but know that we're here for you to lend support while you're finding your way through the grieving process.
Sending your family a warm hug!
Sahana and her Angel Leland and Lucian too

May you finally be healthy and running free at the Rainbow Bridge. Until we meet again my sweet boy!
I just now saw this and wanted to let you know how sorry I am for the loss of your sweet Brick. You are never rambling on here. I found great comfort in posting here. Brick was one beautiful boy. I would love to know sometime how he got his name. Yes, this is a very hard and painful time to go through. May time bring comfort and great memories of him that make you smile again. Thinking of you, Lori, TY & gang
TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.
I too am SO sorry that Brick has crossed the bridge. I also harbor a special hatred for hemangio as it took my heartdog from me 10 years ago. You did everything you could do in the face of that particularly nasty cancer. I know the loss is devastating right now but Brick will always be by your side, in your heart, and riding shotgun in "his" bus. He was a beautiful boy and special spirit. Our thoughts are with you in this difficult time.
Run Free Brick!
