Loving all this good news on Ted and Milo, too!!  And Wanda, I think the news of no metastasis to that lymph node is HUGE!!  I wish we had had the same luck.

On October 27, 2016, nearly 6 months after amputation, and 18 months since his cancer likely started, we lost Pofi to a recurrence of Soft Tissue Sarcoma in his spine quite suddenly.  His canine sister also succumbed to cancer on March 1, 2019 - we lavished her with our love in the interim, but life was never quite the same without her only real canine friend. Cliff kitty had to leave us, too, suddenly, in August 2019. Lucia kitty grieved all these losses, but helped us welcome two new Lurchers into our home and our lives, Shae and Barley.

Thanks so much for your post.  I am so very happy to get the pathology and completely shocked as well.  It was absolutely not what I expected after the last 5 months.  I have a lot of emotions about it - happy and relieved, paranoid and expecting a call to say there is a mistake, and kind of bad that I am so happy about it and I know there are many others on this site who have not had such good news....  It is bittersweet for now.

Sally is right.....we all here need to see good news with all the bad stuff we experience. But I also know what you mean about the bittersweet feeling; I have felt that to some extent with Nitro - he is doing great and I feel guilty sometimes because others are not. But we all rejoice with you, have no doubt.....WAY TO GO TED!

Paula and Nitro

Nitro 11 1/2  yr old Doberman; right front amp June 2014. Had 6 doses carboplatin, followed by metronomic therapy. Rocked it on 3 legs for over 3 years! My Warrior beat cancer, but couldn't beat old age. He crossed the Bridge peacefully on July 25, 2017, with dignity and on his terms.  Follow his blog entitled "Doberman's journey"

Wheee! You look GREAT Ted! Keep on hoppin!

Uh, "YouTube trash"? You mean the other video clips that show up at the end? Unfortunately you can't get rid of those, that's YouTube trying to get you to click some more. But glad you got the videos embedded, yay!

Feel free to start a new topic in another forum, Ted has definitely graduated from this one. He's ROCKIN!

Ted looks great!!!

Shelby Lynne; Jack Russell/Shiba Inu mix. Proud member of the April Angels of 2014.

October 15, 2000 to April 8, 2014

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Just watched Ted's videos and they are FANTASTIC! Wow, it looks like he is doing so very well. All the heartache and worry is worth it when you see your dog looking and acting like this. I know that every time my girl gets silly and does her roll around and wriggle routine, it makes me smile.

Thank you for posting these and sharing your joy!
