Hello! My fur babies name is Sebastian and he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. The tumor is located in his right front leg and the amputation surgery is today. This has happened so fast and I fell like I can't breathe. He has already been dropped off and I am now at home in a panic. I am not sure what time the surgery will be because they have a fluid schedule. They did say that they would call before they took him back. I am scared and just preying that everything goes good today.

Praying with you, and the rest of this loving community. I bet Miss Cow is already by Sebastian's side making sure everything goes well.

My Belle has her front limb amputated 2 weeks ago, also a Thursday, and thanking everyone on earth that we had no complications and extending my prayers to every doggie going thru this.

Sending love,

Belle & family

Thank you all for the kind words. It has been awesome to have this community here. I just got a call that they are taking him in to the OR to start the surgery. The doctor said that he was doing great before and they think everything will go just fine. I will let everyone know when it is over and how it went. THANK YOU ALL!!!

Wishing you and Sebastian all the best today. I still remember getting that call and all the anxiety and uncertainty that comes with it. But Sebastian is in good hands and will be fine. Hang in there.

Sebastian is out of surgery and everything went good. It seemed like it was forever from the time they called to say the surgery had begun to the time the said it was complete. It took just over 3 hours. It was the longest three hours ever. They now have him in recovery and he will stay overnight. The doctor said that she thinks he will be able to come home tomorrow. I am relieved that everything went ok but i am still very sad that my baby had to loose his leg.

Woo-hoo! Way to go Sebastian!

Try to relax and get some rest tonight. The worst part is over, but there are still some tough times ahead. You and Sebastian will get through it. And you'll be amazed at how quickly and well he adapts.

Wonderful 🎉🎉🎉

Yuphiiiiiii 🎊🎊🎊

Surgery is done and of course you feel sad at Sebastian loosing his leg but remember the 💩 tumour is gone and the pain is gone!

We ain’t going anywhere so you have lots of help at hand during his recovery.

You will feel much, much better when you see your Sebastian hopping happily in three legs with his eyes shining with joy.

That will happen as soon as recovery is over.

Just stand strong for your baby and remember each day that goes by is one day closer to the end of recovery and the start of a happy new life on three.

Hugs and cuddles 🐮😘💫✨🌟🌹

YAY FOR SEBASTIAN!!!  He's  high as na kite right now and in good hands, so try and get some good rest yourself!  It's  mentally  and physically  exhausting  to get to this point.  You've  ndon a great job of holding  it all together😁

Hello Everyone!! I just spoke with the doctor and she said that Sebastian will be able to come home today. She thinks that he will do much better once he gets home. Apparently he is being a little snippy now that they have tried moving him to the oral medications and they have to mess with him a little more. This makes me nervous and a little worried. I asked how he was getting around and she said that he is having a bit of a hard time but she thinks that is because of their floors. She did seemed positive that once he was home he would be much better.
