Hi there. I am new to the forum after adopting our little Furiosa.
He is a victim of a horrible person, who threw him from a moving vehicle when he was only 8 weeks old. When my husband and I heard the story, we knew we had to make our home, HIS home. We've dealt with kitties with trauma before, but never a tripod!
I want Furiosa to be able to go outside on a harness and would really love to hear what you guys and gals have to say.
Is there a place to purchase one specifically for cats?
Or can I purchase a regular h-style harness and modify it?
Looking forward to any information you can provide 🙂
Here's Furiosa's facebook page. (he's a bit of a local celebrity and many people wanted updates, so... the page was born)
Hi Furiosa (great name, what's it mean?) and family, welcome! We hope you'll start a blog and join our list of Tripawd Kitty Bloggers.
How wonderful you got to be part of an awesome family now, you sure deserve it.
I'm not sure about cat harnesses but would love to hear others' feedback. We only carry canine harnesses in the Tripawds Gear blog and would love to know if there's a harness that would work well with a Tripawd cat. I do know that harness fit varies based on whether a dog is missing a front or rear leg, so I'm guessing it's the same way with cats.
We're learning so much from our feline friends. Any feedback on cat harnesses for Tripawds would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Jerry, for the response.
The name comes from the recent MAD MAX movie. Charlize Theron's character is Furiosa, and is missing one of her arms, and the surgeon decided to name him after her.
I really hope someone on here has some information that will help. He's only 12 weeks old, so we're keeping him in an enclosed area while are other two cats get used to him. But as he grows, we want to get him accustomed to coming out side with us and getting exercise every once in a while.
Hoping to hear from some of you cat owners on here 🙂
Oh had no idea there was a character like her in the movie, we'll have to see it!
I think our kitty members are snoozin! Hang tight, there should be some feedback soon.
She's such a lucky kitty to have you for pawrents!
