Thanks!  I was doing it from my laptop--so not sure why some worked, and others did not.  Thanks so much for the support.

So, we are just back from our first rehab appt, and it went SOOOO well!  I am so glad that I did it.  She was a great therapist, who evaluated Arthur for about 20 minutes, building trust, and getting a sense of his temperament.  Then, we actually got him into the treadmill tank.  ARTHUR hates the water!  But he did it!!  He hopped a long as the water was raised, and walked a solid 8 minutes with 18 inches of water.  I couldn't believe it! He wasn't too stressed out, and responded well to treats and encouragement while he was on it.

She also talked with me about different exercises and things to do with him at home, and we even started talking about diet options, to try and get some weight off of him.

So, I bought a package for 6 more visits, and am tickled with the progress he made today.

Thanks everyone!

Go Arthur!

Homer had a front limb amputation March 2015 when he was almost 9.  I can't believe he is 11 now!  What a blessing.

I was so happy you found rehab and can provide it for Arthur.  For older dogs, being a tripawd is a bigger challenge.  It was and continues to be for Homer as he grows up.  Lots of compensation in the body and being older at the time of surgery makes it harder.

He is so much happier on 3 legs for sure and he is a bit of a celebri-dog in the area.

Rehab without a doubt saved his whole life.  He loves his therapist and we never allowed her to discharge him.  He got weekly water therapy which is so so helpful.

As he has slowed down over time - naturally not from OSA thank goodness - she comes to the house to massage and cold laser him because he is such a good boy.  He really doesn't do well in the car anymore.

There are some pictures of him at rehab on his instagram page - the oldest ones are him in the pool!

Thanks guys!

Jerry I dont know how you get those pics - I tried to embed the IG pictures and got an error message.  I am glad you shared them.

I was never even able to change his avatar - the cone from the day after surgery - that's a while ago!

Good to hear from you guys!

Go Arthur!

To share Instagram photos, just copy and paste paste the URL of the age with the photo, do not use embed code.

The embed code includes a script. Adding scripts and iFrame code is not allowed for security reasons.

Why not? What kind of error? What Browser?

When uploading your avatar photo, the image file must be at lease 240x240 but if it is too large (>800K±) the upload will fail, there is no need to upload images any larger than that.

Post in the Tech Support forum if you need more assistance and we'll be happy to help.
