That's awesome. Nose work, I never heard of it until I read about yours. I think that's really cool 😎

Hey Holly,

I'm glad all new seems good!  And worry? Yea, that Be.More.Cat. or Be.More.Dog. thing is still a work in progress for me.  I worry less than I used to but still....

I'm sorry Saxton struggles with IBD. Among Quad Pug Tani's list of ailments was IBD.  I was lucky though that a diet change and careful monitoring of what she ate keep things moving.

We are off tonight to look for q-tips!  Well actually half q-tips.  And they are scented with birch oil.  And they are in little containers.  It's Nose Work!

Karen and Elly

Work in progress here as well! Thanks for sharing that helps! I sure try!ugh
We had it under control thru diet alone for years, then reappeared differently we started out throwing up and diarrhea now we have constipation throwing up. We were good for two years no issues. No more do we get comfortable thinking all is fine and it rears again as a reminder! We feed both the boys a freeze dried raw diet Hydrated. Strict on diet, I even syringe Saxton water as he is not the best drinker.

Our fear since day one has been it will turn into lymphoma they say cats with IBD inflammation can lead to lymphoma. We were tested for that and so far we just have the IBD diagnosis via ultrasound!

We can only hope we have the inflammation down more than not and we just have to tweak all this and be ready to tweak.

I didn't forget about the nose work for Purrkins we got side railed with family issues but I have video proof we started it will get that loaded one of these days for you! We will get back to work on that hopefully!

Good luck Elly I know you will find the half scented half q-tips! Purrkins smells the cotton must be!

Miss Holly, Mark and Sexy Saxton! Yes, i can say Sexy Saxton again, ‘cause you are feeling better!!! Yay!!!

We are soooo glad for you for soooo many reasons!!!! First off, bloody good to hear that Mark is doing well and that you can all rest easier!!! Yes, it takes a lot of practice to become a worry wart, so not suck an easy task to stop heh?! That’s what makes us who we are my darling! Good job Mark! Super happy for you!

Saxton, to hear that you are back on the mend, makes me feel a whole lot better. Im really glad the extra JuJu helped!

A special kiss to Mr Purrrrrkins, ‘cause he is probably feeing a little left out... Mum will get your Q-tip out soon buddy! You and Eli can have competitions! Ha! That would be funny, to see who found it first! Although due to Eli’s dislike of kitty’s, we can do it on camera and timed....

Stewie is doing pretty good this morning Miss Holly, he had a bit of a hick up yesterday morning, but seems to be back to his new normal self. I will update in his thread.

Please give love and cuddles to all, i am keeping all the good Juju up in your names!

Thanks, Petra,

Super to hear Stewie is feeling better today!YAAAAAY
Continued JuJu and prayers are still coming your way! 🙏

Purrkins can have a q-tip later today yep;) Maybe we can get Saxton off his duff too! It is raining here, or I would take him outside for a walk. He is hunting the chipmunks at the door! That's a good sign!

New meds seem to make him sluggish so have to give it some time, and I'm going to get in touch with our Dr. Matt see what thoughts he may have for us? As we anxiously await the next poop! 🤢

Hope Elly found the scented q-tips! Oh, and we will not share that her Mom has posted her in the kitty thread hehe!🤐 shhh, Tuxedo Elly;)

Holly, you probably already remember this, but Kitty Steve had issues with bowel for years...if I recall correctly.  She posted mostly through her blog.   Don't really recall the details.  I doubt that there isn't anything you already haven't thought of...but just in case...

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

I truly pray you never have to have that convo. I have assisted the surgery. The results were not good. They just picked another part of the colon to bind up into and still continued to be anesthetized for deobstipation. Medicine is better now, he is holding on great with your awesome care. Nope... you not gonna hafta go down that road..
