Happy tuxedo day all!
There's a few more tuxies out there, like Jill, Midnight, Tommy two-legs..
Your right Brad! We should check on Midnight. Jill is celebrating above with a smile for remembering her! Nice!
Saxton could use some good thoughts today! We are having a flare of his IBD and hoping we can avoid the ER this A.M.🤞🏻🙏
This would be before an important medical appointment we cannot Miss for Mark too. We can't seem to catch a break!
Send some good juju our way, please! Will update when I can!
Saxton you are a handsome as ever, happy tuxedo day! I sure hope you feel better quickly today, keeping fingers crossed and sending tummy calming chin scritches your way.
Happy tuxedo day to all of you, our tuxedo kitty crossed the bridge several years ago, he would have been insisting on cake and ice cream!
Big hugs and lots of love,
Jackie
Hugs,
Jackie, Bo, Andy, Oscar, Phoebe, and the coolest feral tripawd kitty Huckleberry
I just realised my cat Martha was also a tuxedo cat, didn't know you call them that.
Lovely videos and pictures of your sweet tuxedo babies 💗😻🐶💗

Prayers for Mark and prayers for Saxton’s tummy!!!!
lots of love and the best of all JuJu to you my darlings!!!!
Umm... Holly.. I just got a request. Oscar is umm.. unsettled. He says there is no Hereford kitty breed that he is aware of, and he's been web surfing while I'm at work
Oscar is not a tuxedo. He IS black and white but his feral ancestry seems to be meow - moo. No you can't milk him, he's neutered. (His words) but he wants IN on the festivities. He has hinted to me that he has given up a ton of natural greatness to include a feral kitty into HIS pride and he wants recognition. OMC give me strength here... sigh.
Here he is in all his majestic glory:
Ok, I did my part. He approved this photo. Please consider him in your tuxedo festivities. Otherwise I am bound to just a house party for his majesty 🐾😎🐾

Oscar and his mama

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
OK- seriously...
If Elly can qualify as a Tuxedo then Oscar has got to be in!
Karen
p.s. please don't tell Elly I posted her in this thread...she's not fond of felines.

Okay Sexy Saxton,
i think we would all love to hear how you are doing this morning? Is all okay?
As with Brad, we are sending all the good JuJu through to you all!
Lots of lovin’ from Petra, Stewie and his played out Kittens.
Elly! Your Mom has a "unique" sense of decor. Just being in the same room with that ceramic cat would scare the heck out of me!

Good juju sent, Holly 🙂In my opinion, all black/white animals are in! Tuxies, cows, tuxie-cows...
I'm laughing at that picture of Oscar lying in a bed ON TOP OF ANOTHER BED. "His majesty" is right!
(and Karen, that ceramic cat is awesome)
Thanks Brad! JuJu worked! I agree all black and white are Tuxies! Cows and Miss Cow too!

I'm sorry I am just getting back here! I had nothing left of me last night zip! Thanks for the good JUJU
We caught a double break yesterday! We did not have to take Saxton to the ER but got lucky our Vet had a cancellation (JUJU)
I got Saxton comfortable on Cerenia (anti-nausea). Bought us time. As in he held it down and I got him to stop puking! Saxton had x-rays showing a poop was stuck in transit, they gave him a little gas (sedated) and got it out then gave him fluids! They sent us home with a new med to add to our mix to try to keep things going in transit and not pause. We are not out of the woods but we will get there!🤞🏻
This has been on and off thing since Saxton was a kitty and we manage it really well for years, and it comes backs and gets us every few years in some way. The vet has always said things may change and they have 4 times in Saxton's life this is the 4th.
It's terrible for Saxton, and us really, but we always get thru it and find a new way to manage it. Between Traditional and Holistic vet and our part, of course, we will again! Saxton did not have to be left, and we brought him home, and he says it was a Tuxedo Tuesday and feels better not himself yet! Little dopey on his meds here.
The Vet said it was constipation Tuesday;) It's not a laughing matter but for anyone involved but we are all here to talk about it!
We got the BEST news on Mark and we are FREE NOT TO WORRY?! I will have to take a class on that because I have forgotten how to do that and that seems like light years ago? A day not to worry?
PHEW and YAAAAAY!
On to fun things I agree on all black and white Oscar Happy Tuexdo Day to you & that would include Miss Cow in the Hereford breed & Angel Elsie Pie was a tuxedo too! All black and whites we will celebrate on Tuxedo Day Petra claimed the day!
More Good JUJU coming your way Petra! Stewie needs good juju and prayers today. Please send them his way!
Lots of love & Gratitude!!
Great news Holly, I am glad you were able to get him in to his regular vet. I am sorry he has that problem, it is such a bummer (no pun intended) Medicine today is so much better than it was when I had my Falcor. He got mega colon and in the end it just stopped working altogether. Today there are better medicines, better fiber, lots of better things. I know getting rid of that made him feel better, I been down that road too many times with my own and as the tech that did the deobstipation. I know its old time but does he like pumpkin? I know you do the miralax, pumpkin is good too if he will eat a little of it throughout the week.
I am glad your other news was good too!! You, Mark, and the kitties need some time out so you can remember what it is like not to worry so hard!
I have never let my cats have a qtip.. call me paranoid. The other day, I showed one to Oscar.. omc. It was first thing in the morning so I only had half my brain awake... I will let him see another one soon and have phone ready to record in case he has the same reaction.
Bunches of hugs and lots of love,
Jackie and Huck
P.S. Huck said Meow... thank you
Hugs,
Jackie, Bo, Andy, Oscar, Phoebe, and the coolest feral tripawd kitty Huckleberry
Thanks, Jackie,
No, we cant do pumpkin, there is a fine line between what fibers we can and cannot use. We have been down that road before & that was a gone wrong experiment. We have had a few gone wrong experiments and guided by the Vets still have gone wrong.
We use Miralax, Easy Go by Vitality Science which has slippery elm in it & arabinogalactan. Not all kitties can tolerate all fibers that is what we have learned with Saxton anyway. Saxton goes for acupuncture and chiro too and that has been helpful for this . His pelvis is small and always needs to be aligned?
Things have come along way since your Falcor lucky for us. I am sorry for Falcor!
We do not have megacolon yet anyway. We could be heading down that path. We are trying a new med to help in the transit right now. Will we see? We have options still so that is important and we caught this before it got too scary so that is the best news! It was an easy fix considering. One poop stuck and the vet was able to reach it! ouch! I can't imagine that was fun deobstipation but you saved many kitties.
Be paranoid on the Q-tips supervised only of course!
Hey Holly,
I'm glad all new seems good! And worry? Yea, that Be.More.Cat. or Be.More.Dog. thing is still a work in progress for me. I worry less than I used to but still....
I'm sorry Saxton struggles with IBD. Among Quad Pug Tani's list of ailments was IBD. I was lucky though that a diet change and careful monitoring of what she ate keep things moving.
We are off tonight to look for q-tips! Well actually half q-tips. And they are scented with birch oil. And they are in little containers. It's Nose Work!
