Sue, I am sitting her bawling happy tears, and am just so blown away by your strength and Nova's courage.
AMEN!!! DITTO!!! Oh Sue - I am speechless and full of those wonderful happy tears - you and Nova are the teachers on how to manage such difficulty and fear with such grace, strength, faith and determination - just amazing...you are both heros...truly - an inspawration. This is an incredible journey you are on with her - the bond you have with her is so incredible - I can't imagine the amazement in watching her adapt and adjust...I could just go on and on and on....this is really, really incredible.
I know you will cherish each and every moment.
BIG HUGE hug - and tons of love to you both.

Sue,
Hang in there with Nova, we already know how amazing our dogs are. She will take your lead on how to get through this. We had a Cocker Spaniel 5 years ago and she was deaf for about 3 years when she also lost her sight. At the time I wasn't sure how she would handle it, but she knew her path in our home and she depended on us to keep her safe.
Give Nova lots of love and take care, we send you hugs & licks.
Thank you for the kind words regarding Paris, we went for a road trip today and an ice cream treat. We are loving her one day at a time.
Gineej & Paris
Grateful for every moment we had with Paris…..no regrets!
Honoring her life by opening our hearts & home to Addy!
Less than 48 hours as a blind Tripawd, and LOOK how well she can find her way:
She felt awful yesterday (eye pain made her want to sleep not eat). But today she feels great and we had the pressures measured and they were normal! Still no vision though, so it's looking like this is permanent. But I am so happy she is adapting.
