Just a shout out to say that the MegaStar's wheels are FINALLY (paws crossed) arriving tomorrow. It's been a royal pain in the rear end getting to this stage. No fault of Eddie's Wheels, who have been wonderfully responsive from start to finish, but just one thing after another, culminating in the package getting stuck at customs because they (customs) sent me the wrong reference code, which meant there was no way for me to pay the (considerable) charges and duties to get them released. Cue endless phone calls, hours of sitting on hold to vapid musak, interspersed with pleading, cursing, more holding, more musak, threatening to drive to Heathrow complete with three-legged dog, so she could dig them out of the mountain of mislabelled parcels herself.

Anyway.... tomorrow... not that we'll try them immediately. We have an appointment next week with the (Eddie's Wheels trained) rehab therapist who measured her for them, so she can help me introduce her to them, and make any final adjustments. The rehab centre is quite amazing. I'd never been there before. It's set in a vineyard in the Surrey hills, and they make and sell wine on site. Now that may come in handy...

I will post about our wheels experience over the coming weeks and months in case anyone may find it useful.

Thanks for reading,

Meg, Clare and Angel Pie xxx

PS Here's Meg, looking towards the horizon, wondering whether her wheels will ever arrive...

Can you get a cup holder installed on Meg's wheels for your wine at the rehab place?

I'm looking forward to your updates, if for no other reason that there will be more pictures of Meg!

Oh how exciting! What an ordeal to get those wheels in your possession! But like Meg, you can tackle any challenge put in front of you. Good job Mum 🙂

I agree, a cup holder and sippy cup for the wine sounds like the perfect set of wheels.

Let us know how it goes. We rarely hear about a Tripawd's experience with new wheels, and how they work out in the long term, so we are super curious and cheering on Team Meg!

How can I possibly  typo a response when all I do is scroll back up and look at the ADORAVLE MEG!!!  Like everyone of us, I just adore seeing her photos!

Even though  your stress level has ro be off the charts trying to get these wheels delivered, the way you  take us on the journey with you gives us a giggle.😄

Now, you're  just getting the wheels as a precautionary  "head start" should she need them in the future, right?  Or is it more that you are going to use it off and on to keep things stable as they are now?  Not sure I'm  making sense...not a surprise!😂

Regardless, as Jerry said, it will be so exciting  to follow Meg on her "Meg ⭐a⭐ Star Wheels🚕🚗

Love you furever😙

What an ordeal, Clare, you made me roll with laughter at the thought of Meg digging for her wheels in a mountain of misplaced goods.

Cannot wait to read your updates and see the pictures, of course.

Always a real treat to see the one and only Meg-a-Star 🌻

Sending you an avalanche of kisses and cuddles galore 😘🐮💫✨🌟🌹

Thanks, everyone! It's fun to share this with you, and you can count on lots of photos, for sure... whatever

Unfortunately, I can't post a photo of the wheels arriving, for the very good reason that they haven't arrived, and won't be arriving today after all. I just spoke to the depot (HAVING WAITED IN WITH MEG ALL DAY!!!!) and it turns out they forgot to put them on the van.

I am trying to cling on to some vestige of humour but at this point I really could SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAM!
