Meg loves water, and Meg's love of water is one of the things I love most about Meg (I mean, along with everything else). If Meg sees water, she will jump in it, no matter where or what. This has led to some hairy experiences at times (we once had to be rescued from the sea) but mostly it is a cause for massive amounts of joy and celebration. This video contains a couple of pieces of archive footage from when she was still on four, but all the other clips are on three, and you'd be hard pressed to spot the difference.

Wow!  You really can't tell the difference from 4 to 3!  She is fearless in the water.  I love watching her jump in in wild abandon!  Her love of water just has to make you laugh as you watch her just being the happiest dog in her favorite element!  She's such a treasure Clare!  Even Elsie got her feet wet because Meg looked like she was having too much fun for Elsie Pie to miss out on.  Such fun!  Thanks for sharing and keep 'em coming!  Your two always make me smile!  Love those two!!

You're so right, Linda! Elsie is a real landlubber, but the one thing she hates even more than water is feeling like she might be missing out...

Thanks for watching!  heart

MAAAADE MYYYYYY DAAAAY and beyond😁😁😁 OOOOOMMMMDDDD😁😁 HER HAPPINESS IS INFECTIOUS, And then we have Miss Elsie
Pie 🐖🐖 not wanting to get her feet wet!,

Definition of PURE JOY AND HAPPINESS AND BLISS ! That Meg clearly evolved from the sea!🦈🦈

Most any other dog would wade in.....but not MEGASTAR,🐳🐳 The sheer JOY she displays with each huge leap into the water lights up my world!! She needs her own pool stocked full of rubber ducks 🦆🦆

Just shows that what appears to be a messy mud puddle to some, can be turned into a beautiful pristine puddle of joy to others😀 Hmmm...yet another lesson of wisdom from the MEGASTAR!!

This is my "go to" video for an infusion of HAPPINESS today, and everyday!!

Thank you Clare💗💗💗💗💗💗💗

Lots of love

Cannot see the difference in legs ... at all!!! How amazing!!! What love she has for water and such fun she is having... leaping and splashing about!!! I love dogs that love water!!!

I love watching the labs at the dog beach leap into the ocean (no waves) and just fish out the ball and go for more and more. I'll have to come back to this each time I am having a bad day and remind myself to "Be More Dog "... LOVE!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Meg is a MEGASTAR is right.  I loved this video when I saw it on Facebooger (as Sally) calls it.  I didn't even notice the difference til I went back and re-watched it.  Couldn't even tell 🙂

Great compilation of leaps and big splashes. She sure had great fun playing with that other dog in the small pool of water.

So where is the video of the rescue at sea???

What a great video.  My Bella became a Tripawd in March.  She loooooves to swim.  She's having a bit of lameness lately due to a pulled muscle, but I would love to take her to the pond this summer for a swim. This was inspiring, thanks for sharing.

wow! clap I've never had a dog that loved the water like that!  Growing up we had Bozo who would walk down to the river to cool off when he was hot, but he only waded in a little bit, and he never went further than he could touch ... good thing since there was a pretty fast current & he could have ended up in Lake Erie!  But I've never had a dog jump in the water like that.  Meg, you could be one of those trick dogs that do shows where they dive into the pools at the county fair!  superstar

Thanks for watching! Yeah, Brenda, I remember well how thrilled I was when Meg started swimming again after her amputation. She'd been 'off games' for about a year before, so to see her hurling herself back in just felt like a great celebration for us both. Make sure you film lovely Bella. I'd love to see her swimming.

And Donna, yes it is a little unusual, and there have been times when Meg's tendency to launch herself into any water has landed us in some hairy situations. Her absolute favourite is probably a fast flowing river. She drops her ball in off the bank, then rushes along and leaps in to fetch it. She might not end up in Lake Erie but she's been jolly close to the Irish sea.... These days I keep her away from rivers, or certainly fast flowing rivers. She's a mighty impressive swimmer on three, but obviously doesn't have quite the same power as she did on four.

Thanks again for watching big-grin
