Lyn & Lefty, welcome. Looks like you're having some posting challenges, can we help?

I apologize for whittling down the title of your post but it was realllllly long and would be difficult for others to find when searching through the Forums. I also moved it to this "Hopping Around" forum since it seems like you're asking about mobility issues?

If you haven't already checked out the California Animal Rehabilitation video, "Exercises and Stretches with CARE" be sure to watch. They have great advice about how much activity level Tripawds should have.

Dogs, whether quadrupeds or tripawds, will go and go and go (usually) to the point of injuring themselves. It's up to their pack leader to monitor their behavior and make sure they don't overdo it.

We were talking about this topic recently, you might want to check out this post:

Over-confident tripawd – preventing injuries
