Hello, hope I'm posting in the right place!
Our vet recommended the https://helpemup.com/ harness.
but I don't see it on your list.
I'm wondering if we should go for that or the Ruffwear Flagline .
We mostly want a way to lift our dog up to the car or help her get down as we don't want her jumping and hurting remaining legs.
but also don't want to break our back. She's 60 pounds.
did I miss some info on the helpemup?
do you recommend one over another?

Hi Debby! I'm so glad you asked.
You didn't miss anything about the other harness. We don't carry it because over the years we've found that like most harnesses, it just doesn't work great on dogs missing a leg. It has a lot of pieces, tends to slip around, and often obstructs the penis area on male dogs. The leg loops don't work well on rear-leggers, since it needs both legs to stay in place. For four-legged dogs who need rear end support it's awesome. For Tripawds, not so much.
The reason we love the Flagline is because it's super easy to put on and off, and it rotates the least out of any harnesses we've found. All harnesses will slip a little on a front legger, but some way more than others. See Penny's review. The under-belly support is extra nice, and not too encumbering. The only downside is that it's not the greatest for dogs who need rear-end support (for example, if they have terrible osteoarthritis in the rear, or are just really week in the back. But honestly after all these years, we still haven't found the ideal harness that works in that situation, especially when it comes to dogs missing a rear leg.
