Does it make sense to use a front leg bandage like this CarpoLock SPORT Bandage für Hunde Karpalgelenke (petphysio-shop.de)
to prevent overload?
Not unless your physiotherapy practitioner has recommended it. The wrong type or size of brace can actually do more harm than good. What's going on with Leyla that you think she needs it?

We are all so Hhappy to jear how well Leyla is doing!! Thanks so much for the update!!
Playing with other dogs while you are monitoring and not letting them get too crazy wild should be fine.
Hopefu6 the link Jerry gave you will give you insight on some type of support sleeve.
Give Leyla a big smooch and extra treat for is. You both have come such a long way and we are thrilled she's a hapoy girl!

It's always a joy to see our Tripawds doing so well! Yes, they want to do everything the other dogs do, and they will try. But if their activity level is not carefully monitored during their younger years, arthritis and pain will catch up to them sooner rather than later. We highly recommend a physiotherapist visit to help guide new Tripawd parents toward proper exercise and injury prevention for their dog. Our e-book, Loving Life On Three Legs , has lots of tips about activity.
Leyla sounds like a fun pup!
