Hi Daniela....I know he started off with a small dose, like 1/4 teaspoon twice a day (he weighed about 80 lbs at that point),and his top dose of each of the two herbs was 1 teaspoon twice a day. The dose has to be worked up to so as not to cause GI upset. I made meatballs with the required dose to get him to take it - it smells like dirt, so I imagine it doesn't taste too good either! I don't remember for sure, but as best as I can tell, he took them for sure 4 months, maybe a little longer until I ran out and it was time to stop. According to my vet anyway, there is a finite time to be on them.....maybe at some point they are no longer effective? That I can't remember. If you want to read his blog to see his progress, it's nitro.tripawds.com. Keep us posted if you start using this and what you think of it.
Paula and Nitro
Nitro 11 1/2 yr old Doberman; right front amp June 2014. Had 6 doses carboplatin, followed by metronomic therapy. Rocked it on 3 legs for over 3 years! My Warrior beat cancer, but couldn't beat old age. He crossed the Bridge peacefully on July 25, 2017, with dignity and on his terms. Follow his blog entitled "Doberman's journey"

Thank you so much Jerry, will do, I am new here so I am finding out how everything works! 🙂Hi banditfoster! That sounds so amazing!! May I ask where did you buy the stasis breaker? I have found it on Well-pet dispensary page only?
We purchase it at his vet, Animalia Health & Wellness. It comes it both a pill found and powder.
Hi Daniela, as for now, he gets Immuplex (vitamins and minerals), Renafood (which is a supplement for his kidney/bladder issues that developed most probably from his metronomic therapy), and an anti-inflammatory. So to answer your question, he isn't taking anything for cancer "per se" but just overall wellness stuff. He does also get acupunture and chiropractic adjustments every 3-4 weeks. Other than that, I guess it's in a higher power's hands.

Aloha, Our 11 yr old Golden KONA was diagnosed with anal carcinoma. He seems to be doing well with the Chinese herbs but I would appreciate any information that any one has in reference to Stasis breaker. It's only been a few months but sometimes he does want to throw up right after. We do give him a full meal with each dose. We do have a great vet here on Maui and she knew we did not want to put our old boy through chemo and continues to work tirelessly to give KONA every option. Any info is greatly appreciated.! Thank you for taking the time to read this post. KONA, David and Nancy
Hello....I used Stasis Breaker along with Bone Stasis when my Dobe was first diagnosed with osteosaroma. When nitro was on it, I used to make meatballs with the herb mixed in them; then he'd get however many meatballs, twice a day, that was his dose of stasis breaker. He never had any issues with GI distress for the year or so that he took the herbs.
