Hi all!

Back from the Wag It Games seminar weekend.  Maggie did GREAT on Saturday but I have no video of Saturday 🙁  But here's one from Sunday where she did a run thru on the game called "Shadow Skills".  If any of you are familiar with Rally Obedience, it is similar to that except the dog will at times work on either side of you – right AND left vs. just left in Rally.  As we get to a sign, we perform what is on the sign.  Shadow Skills has less stationary(sitting/downing) than in traditional Rally obedience, so that will be good for Maggie!

You'll notice she was having a hard time sitting 🙁  No, she's not being obstinate…I have found lately, since she's been able to be outside more now that winter is gone…due to getting more exercise, she gets tired/weak when I try to ask for a sit sometimes….Sooooo, based from the Live Chat with Dr. Waldman(THANK YOU ADMIN AND DR. WALDMAN!), I have ordered two FitPaws balance pads for her to work on to try to strengthen her up more to try to help her with sitting more.

Wow Maggie MooMoo - that is impressive!  You are putting us all to shame with your tricks!

That is one serious fluff tail, too!

Cometdog,

Since you commented on Maggie's tail....I'll give you the history on Maggie being AgileCowDog 🙂

So, you all know she used to compete in agility....hence the "agile" part....

Well, the CowDog comes from her coat pattern AND that fluffy tail of hers....sorta looks like a cow's tail, doesn't it?  Lots of fluff at the end but up closer to her body not much hair!

It was my brother that once said, because we don't know Maggie's parentage, that she MUST have holstein cow in her....given her size, her coat pattern and that tail! 😉

Maggie, you look awesome!  Way to go!  Holly has trouble sitting lots of the time - she's also a rear amp.  She can sit better on carpet than on smooth surfaces.  I'll have to check out those fit paws you mentioned - thanks for reminding me!

And her tail was one of the first things we noticed - it's beautiful! (as is she!) Mooo!

Holly and Holly's mom

Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

It's nice to hear(well not really but you know what I mean) that Holly has trouble sitting at times too.  Yes, Maggie has an easier time sitting on rugs too…but she has trained in that same building before and had no issues with the rubber mats..  This was day 2….Day 1 she was fine with her sits in there.  Muscle fatigue… gotta get more core work done on her!!

This is where I ordered my FitPaws balance mats:

I searched on Amazon first to see if I could find something cheaper but couldn't….  Cleanrun is a place I shop alot.
