Hi everyone! I have been making my pups some homemade frozen popsicles: greek yogurt, blueberries, peanut butter & a little bit of honey.
I want to do more healthy snacks, does anyone have any recommendations? He has his surgery this Thursday.
I stocked up on gatorage & canned food. I found the shopping list very helpful! If there is anything else that I should get, please tell me!
Yum! All of those goodies sound so yummy and healthy too!
Yes we have loads of ideas in the Tripawds Nutrition blog . See:

Yep: something for YOU! Chocolate? Three Legged Red? Tea? You need treats too!
Good luck tomorrow! Keep us posted!

Here are some of our go-to treats: Straight from the fridge!
cucumbers (we get the small snack size)
grape tomatoes (also use them for “pill pockets”
carrots
green beans
bell peppers
Blueberries
banana smashed, inside kong and frozen
i also get freeze dried and dehydrated fruits like apples, mango, sweet potatoes etc. we just make sure there’s nothing else added, such as sugar.
if he’s getting something super special we give him some mango. It’s his favorite!
Love this! Thank you for sharing. It's funny how so many people don't realize that dogs will eat fruits and veggies. Most need to get used to the taste because it's so unfamiliar. But once they do, most dogs gladly accept these yummy foods instead of calorie-rich baked treats.
