Hello, our Great Dane, Bliss had his amputation yesterday from a bone cancer diagnosis we were given less than 2 weeks ago. We are exploring options and the name Tumexal came up. Has anyone had any experience with this in their treatment plan? Much thanks in advance for anyone who may have some information for us! -Jessica
Hello Bliss & Jessica, we're sorry to hear about your diagnosis. How is she doing now?
I hope you don't mind but since you're referring to a supplement I moved your post here to "Eating Healthy" which is where these discussions happen.
As for this one in particular, you can read about it here in a past discussion. This discussion addresses it in the first two posts of this long discussion:

Then picks up again here:

In the past we have been hit by spammers being paid to promote this product by posing as cancer survivors, so we screen posts that refer to it carefully. Be careful what you read out there and use a very discerning eye. Always talk to your vet first before spending any money on supplements.
Good luck to you, please let us know how we can help OK? Be sure to check out "Size and Age Matters," there are lots of great examples of danes living great lives on 3 legs.

Jerry thank you so much! I'm slowly figuring out how to use forums for the 1st time! Bliss is doing well, he's resting up and from what the vet said, he was up and walking and nearly pulling the nurses out of the office on day 2! I will check the links you sent me, once again thank you! This site has been very helpful to us so far. -Jessica
Eeek, I'm sorry I called "Bliss" a she! I'm happy to hear he's doing well and that you found help here. In fact, this community was sponsored by a harlequin great dane named "Moose"! Here is his story, I hope you enjoy reading it.

Just want to update the story about the scheming SOB behind Tumexal. He's back in prison for bilking millions of dollars from pet parents by selling them fake cancer cures
