Hello everyone, I have been absorbing all your suggestions and am thinking of trying the power mushrooms. What has been anybodys experience with them, both results and side effects . Gus just started prednisone and antacid, and in researching your suggestions I want to make sure anything I do is compatable with each other, so I know  I might need to drop the prednisone if I do use the mushrooms, and thats ok with me. I will be talking to the vet on tuesday to see about the metronomic therapy and Palladia possibilities also, and will inquire about mixing any meds I use before I do. Thanks for all your advice and support,  and let's remember what this holiday is for, Paws up, Gus and Dan

My buddy Gus had a left front amputation on April 7, 2010 and lived a great life until July 26,2010

The mushrooms are very safe and should not interact with prednisone or any other drugs (even chemo).

FYI: On the Tripawds Nutrition blog Supplements page, we have compiled links to existing topics discussing user's experiences with Power Mushrooms. We'll add this topic too, if others can provide more feedback! Thanks for asking.

Hi Dan,

I was looking for this one thread on power mushrooms a couple of months ago in the forum that really convinced me about buying them.  It looks like Admn has provided this link above – which has some great information in it.  It's interesting because I noticed a big boost in Mackenzie's energy level as soon as she started taking them.  Not sure if it was my imagination or wishful thinking but whatever it is, it seems to be working really well.  I ordered mine through the link on the website Only Natural Pet.com. They're really fast and seem to be very reasonably priced.  Good luck!

Kami (Mackenzie's Mom)

My sweet golden Mackenzie.  She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2  although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home.  She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009.  She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes.  I love you Mackenzie!

Hey Gus, hope you don't mind that we moved your topic here, it's just that we talk about Power Mushrooms a lot in this Forum.

Kami, it's great to hear that Mackenzie's feeling good!
