Simon 100 lbs has been gettting one scoop of armor up with his one meal of the day... I havent been giving it AM and PM as directed.

If I double my scoop, and continue to give it just at the one meal.. is that fine?  continue with just one scoop?   I emailed k9,., no reply.

I should be giving artemisinin and haven't started that yet.. does anyone give armor up with artemisinin in a small treat?  what type of treat?  '

My question is, why does Simon get fed just once a day? Is there a medical reason? I'm nosy. But I ask because veterinarians recommend breaking up meals into at least two each day.

Regardless, I would see how he does with one scoop plus a little more, then build up every few days after that to make sure his stomach tolerates it. Don't see why he wouldn't. But tell us what K9 Medicinals says and let us know.

Don't know about giving artemisinin concurrently, can't give you feedback on that.

Never feel nosy...  I've fed once a day forever bec Simon was always so finnicky... He'd usually never touch breakfast..  ( I've known that once a day is never best)  Some of the keto people are ok with once a day..  who knows...   I might change to twice a day  especially know that he licks his bowl clean with HK bone broth. salmon. sardines and the low carb kibble.... Once a day, with all the extra stuff I do.. is fast and easy...  I see a new holistic vet next week.. I will discuss the feeding... thanks for reminding me to ask her about this..

That totally explains it. Jerry was the same way and now that i recall he only ate once a day in his early pickier years when we fed him strictly kibble. Haha we didn't know that was his way of telling us his food was distasteful!

Let us know what the vet says too.
