We are so sorry to hear about Harley. My heart is heavy with you today. I know exactly how you feel when you say how you put so much into helping them eat and keep an appetite and stay active and it is exhausting at times but you'd keep doing it forever if would keep them going. I hate cancer. Harley is free now and he fought hard and you did too. Take care of yourself.
TWP Rizzo and Suzie
Jack Russell born in 2001. Mast cell cancer found Dec 2009 and right rear amputation. Five rounds of chemo done before all treatment stopped. Living life to the fullest!! Read my story at http://rizzo.tripawds.com
Oh Kathy, I'm so sorry to hear this about Harley. Such a beautiful pup. He is an even more beautiful angel now and running pain free with the other angels that went before. Our pain begins when theirs ends.
Hang in there. Thinking of you at this difficult time.
Jackie, Angel Abby's mom
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. I am so sorry for your loss. I know how much you are hurting right now. What a beautiful boy Harley was! Run free and out of pain, Harley.
Spirit Chili Dawg's pack
Diagnosed with OSA: 5/2/2011 Ampuversary: 5/11/2011 OSA returned in hip: 8/26/2011
Chili Dawg crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 8/30/2011 & is now pain free. He was my heart dog, and I miss him every day.
I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Harley. I hate that cancer has taken so many of our pups way too soon and so many of the beautiful Goldens. Wishing you the best during this difficult time.
Kathy & Tasha
Tasha was a German ShepherdBorder Collie mix who was diagnosed with OSA at age 8. On December 29, 2011 she had her front right leg amputated and received 4 rounds of chemo. Sadly and suddenly Tasha became sick and we discovered she had liver cancer that had spread to her lung. After almost 19 months, Tasha earned her wings on July 17, 2013. No regrets and never forgotten.
