This has been the worst 30 days ever . Samson came to me after my Loki boy passed , Samson was rescued by me in Feb at the age of 3.5 yrs and has done so much for me . Helping grieve though Loki's passing and everything else in life that he was here for .. I miss him more now then ever and it hurts just as bad .
He brought soo much life and joy into our lives , making friends with his bud Athena and even the old lady Babygirl . I'm gonna miss everything about him good and bad . From stealing my socks and leaving them outside in the rain to toro toro ( his blanket game ) , Sams soccer , and him swinging his Budda ball on a rope and smashing everything in site . To him protecting me from the deer and bear that walked into the property , or him helping me and being my support dog after breaking my back , or him sitting on top of me after my leg would give out from the nerve getting pinched.
I thought I was saving him from a bad life of living in a basement with no real interaction and toys , when in reality he rescued me .. Always making me crazy or making me laugh . I loved my brave boy soo much and will forever miss him .
Seeing him play with all the toys he had to his first bone ( he never had them before ) to finding out he couldn't have rawhide treats as they made him sick.
He was diagnosed in the beginning of November with osteo in the front leg but never had a chance to fight the disease due to a blood clot taking him too early . I know he hung in there for me and that he only drank the water I gave him and then getting up to drink some just minutes before passing . I am just glad I got to pet, hug him and let him know what a great boy he is and that I loved him , and it was ok to go .. He passed minutes later next to me ..
I hope your safe Samson and playing with the rest of my crew that you never got to meet along with the siblings . Teaching them soccer and toro toro . Enjoy the sunshine and no more pain from the cancer ..

(((hugs))) I’m so sorry. Sometimes it seems like our grief will never get easier. It’s a long road, without any end in sight. There is one, you just aren’t there yet. When you are, Samson will let you know.
You rescued each other, you both found one another at the perfect time. It was a bond that was meant to be, and one that will never be destroyed. True love is eternal, and Samson will never leave your side, ever.
Stay strong, be good to yourself and know that you are not alone. We get it.

He had such charisma , character , and one hell of a personality .. Sometimes stubborn as an ox but the most loving and gentle of souls .. He was a true ambassador for his breed with his never ending loyalty , and unconditional love , to being a clown - like a 1 yr old puppy everyday .. I will miss him undeniably .
And he was a proud boy for sure ... And a big big baby with me ...

His hugs , figure 8 's between my legs and trying to lift me up by going between my legs and lifting up was every time he missed me and any time I came home from from going out ( store , outside whatever) but the rare kisses he gave will always stay with me as the most special thing ever .. He truly was 1 of a kind ...............

Hes been my rock since I adopted him to help me deal with my 3 boys ( 2 American bull dog brothers and a pitty mix ) who passed away all with in 9 months of each other , the brothers from cancer as well , which devastated me for a very long time
Samson was by my side every minute , and when I’m gone for a day its loads of hugs , kisses and his idea of fun ( going between my legs and picking me up off the ground . Then when I broke my back he has been my protector from every thing / everyone , even help me back up when my leg gives out .
