I thank everybody and each of you specially for your compassionate and loving words.
No one better than you to know how we love our sweeties!
If anything, they teach us to love without being selfish, to give no matter what. This is what I'm now trying to do, to let her go without regrets to a place where she is much better off. But I guess I have a couple of lessons to learn jet, as I keep asking myself why she had to leave me so soon!?
Thank you, and you are all in my thoughts.
Love

Spirit Horacia, Castaño, Olympia + human family Cecilia, Georg and Julia - - - Hori first diagnosed 8/6/09, ampu 8/12/09, run over the bridge 9/10/09 – We miss you every day dear girl!
Cecilia,
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I look at your photo of Hori and see the face of our 8-year-old Great Dane, Dallas, who was just diagnosed (same leg as Hori) with osteosarcoma 2 days ago. We are struggling with the decision of whether to amputate, and it heartens me some to see that Hori's last few weeks were at least good ones.
When you are able, and if it's not too selfish to ask, we would so greatly appreciate your insights and some more information about the recovery process. There is so little Dane-specific info out there (especially front-leg amputation), and I want to know that we have all the right "tools" in place to help Dallas recover, should we decide to go this route.
My family's prayers are with you and yours.

I wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about Horacia's passing. What a big beautiful girl she was. She was very loved and very well taken care of, so even though she had to endure a lot of crap, she was lucky to have you. I hope all the great memories of her heals your heart sooner rather than later.
Cecilia!
We are on vacation and wanted to know how things were going with our tripawds friends and then we read your beautiful Horacia has passed away. We are so sad and in shock. She will be in our hearts forever. You are in our prayers. Thank's for supporting us when we had a hard time with Oslo.
