I came home today to a package from my brother and sister in law. It immediately had me in tears but meant so much to me! In the box was a framed picture of Roane and iI think im going to put it over my sewing desk since i spend so much time there. Her bed is next to my chair so she could  "help sew."  

This was a normal evening for roane and i. Outside chores then a sit down and belly scratching on the livingroom floor. The look on her face says it all lol. "Mom is being silly again."

If im not mistaken, this photo was taken after spending the day outside doing firewood. Which usually involved me putting the wood in the shed and roane taking it back out! Roane loved a good stick, everytime i brought wood into the house she would sit in front of the hearth and stare at the kindling and wag her tail. I'd usually give in and tell her she could pick a piece. She would sniff them all over and when she found the right one she would jump up grab the stick and run into the livingroom like she had the best prize ever! Her best stick was very frequently a HUGE piece of firewood! The whole family calls kindling "happy sticks" because she always had a collection in the livingroom.

Moe is a bit off still. Keeping a close eye on me but not in his usual demanding, high maintenance way. Its more like hes trying to stay close just incase i need him. ❤ we've had some good chats and snuggles. If i sit down he's in my lap! The snuggling says alot, he's a pat me but don't pat me kind of cat. 3 head scratches and thats enough he bites you. 

He finally consented to sleep in the bedroom 😉 

Yup, moe is constantly demanding something at the top of his lungs. Along with the fussing at everyone and nipping but really its all for show  😉 our big tough guy is a love❤
