Sally, thinking of you!!! I knew this day was coming up for you. I think I was so in the midst of my battle last year, that I did not realize that TY followed Happy Hannah to the bridge the next day. Love the tribute, the painting, the M&Ms, the candles. What a life Hannah had with you! She was so happy. So happy that she whispered in Myrtle's ear that she would love it there. Then she started orchestrating the match. Then she told Frankie. Miss you Hannah girl! Hope there is an unending ice cream dispenser at the bridge, complete with M&M topping. Love, Lori, Ty & Gang
TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.
A year...
a whole year...........
It just seems like yesterday.... just not so long ago... and yet it has been a year... and you made it!! You made it through... and you have accomplished soooo much!! Merry Myrtle.... Fabby Franklin.... and we all know that Happy Hannah had a paw or two in that one!!! lol
Yet.. even though the time has passed, a year... two years... however long, the love in our heart never fades. That's a pretty wonderful gift that we have from our furkids isn't it? More cherished than any item bought from Walmart I tell ya!
I'm sorry I never posted yesterday.. I wasn't able to get to a computer for long. Yet I remembered because it was the day after my sister's birthday that Hannah ran for the bridge... April wasn't a good year last year, nor this year for our Tripawd families... but it was certainly a great year for those hanging out at the bridge.. man-oh-man the parties that were going on there... I could hear the loud snoring all through the month of May while they were recouperating!! 
I hope your day yesterday was filled with love, snuggles from those furkids and smiles, even through your cheeks were wet!

Franklin, he was the Happiest Dog on Three Legs! Diagnosed 09/26/2012 with Osteosarcoma, amputated 12/4/2012. Had a wonderful 5 1/2 months painfree until he ran for the Bridge on 5/15/2013. I can't believe that smiling mug has been gone a whole year. It seems like yesterday when you called to tell me about it. I remember you saying that wagged her tail the whole time. I am thinking of you and I know that the first year is so so tough. I am so glad Happy Hannah had a paw in bringing Merry Myrtle and Frankie to you. They bring a lot of joy to your life.
I am so sorry I didn't get to post on this on last night. I had to go into the office that always throws everything off. I have been thinking about you and I knew this day was coming up because I remembered it was the day after Sassy's ampuversary.
Sally, you have been a great support to all of us. Cheerleader no matter what was going on in your journey with Hannah. You still are. No matter who it is you are there cheering them on. I greatly appreciate all that you do for me. You were there for me when Sassy crossed the bridge, you have been here for me for personal issues. I am so honored to have you as my friend.
I had lots of chocolate to help celebrate her. I knew I should have called you last night. I am sorry I didn't get it done.
I watched that wonderful video again and cried my eyes out.

05/04/2006 - Bosch, Sassy's pal, earned his wings 03/29/19 fought cancer for 4 months.

Was looking at all these posts last night, and remembering Happy Hannah, and so many others from awful April 2014...... Sally, keeping you in my thoughts for this 1st angelversary of wonderful Happy Hannah, your continuing presence here in the community is still the shining light for everyone here.

So of course my work computer won't let me watch the tribute made by Elizabeth...
. But the picture of your tribute to Happy Hannah is simply beautiful (as always)!!! Yes, Hannah made sure there would still be laughter and smiles in your life after she got her wings so she picked out your Merry Myrtle. Perhaps she thought you needed even more laughs so she picked out Frankie just for you.
You do so much for us here so just know that you're being wrapped up in a big Tripawd hug for Hannah's Special Angelversary!!

May you finally be healthy and running free at the Rainbow Bridge. Until we meet again my sweet boy!
It's so hard to realize that it has already been a year since that night when I came downstairs in tears to tell .Garry that Hannah had earned her wings. We both sat there in numb disbelief with tears streaming. Little did we realize that this year Hannah would be showing Murphy the ropes at the Bridge. Go ahead, Hannah. Show him all about those wonderful goodies that he didn't get while he was here. I'm sure she will be replacing the green beans with ice cream!

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
I can't believe how the day arrived. A year later? It can't be. Because each and every time I come here, I see Hannah's glorious, bright spirit bringing comfort and hope and hoppiness to this entire community.
Hannah's Happy Hope transcends time, it goes beyond anything that we silly humans can mark off on a calendar. She is, and always will be, part of the heart and soul of every single pawrent and Tripawd here.
All our love and hearts go out to you Sally. These milestones are tough, but I hope you can feel our collective embrace.

A whole year ... I remember it like it was yesterday. I was still realing from the loss of Shelby and only to learn that Hannah joined her ... it seemed impossible to me... and you knew her time was ending and you continued to be there for me and support ME ... You are a saint, Sally... pure gold!
And then we lost our sweet Ty shortly there after. TOO much grief for April.
But here we ALL are ... still connected through our pups, our journey and our new fur-kids.... we DID it. We made it a year! And we survived. We are WARRIORS!!!!

October 15, 2000 to April 8, 2014
Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Gosh, I just can't believe they have all now been gone a year......Jake, Ty, Polly, Shelby, Libby, Max and Hannah. After last April I almost never wanted to come back on here, it seemed like every time I logged on someone had gotten their wings and I just can't believe it's been a whole year. Happy Hannah is teaching everyone at the bridge and everyone here still that when all else fails, eat chocolate. May we all love life the way Hannah did, drenched in chocolate and surrounded by steak and ice cream! Many hugs to you Sally today and always!

Our awesome Golden Boy was diagnosed for OSA in April 2014 in the proximal humerus, front-leg amp on 05/20/2014. Finished chemo (Carbo6) on 07/10/2014. Ongoing treatment: acupuncture + K-9 Immunity Plus ( 3chews) and home-cooked no-grain diet. Stopped Apocaps because of liver issues. Liver issues: controlling altered enzymes with SAM-e and Milk Thistle. October 17: started having seizures. Taking fenobarbital for seizures. April 18: started prednisone.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
