On August 8, we said good bye to Finny. Although it was the best thing to do for it, certainly, it was one of the hardest decisions. He was such a big loveable dog and fought cancer harder than you could ever imagine. We were fortunate to have two good years with him before we found it his cancer returned to his lungs. Every day I miss that big lug but I am lucky to have had eight years of wonderful. One of the positive things about what he endured was meeting Jerry while he and his folks traveled around country. I'm so glad for that opportunity and that they started this fantastic website to connect all us tripawd folks.
We are so very sorry for your loss. From everything we've read Finnegan was an amazing shining example for the rest of us. Run strong and free of pain sweet Finnegan - you deserve it.

Our thoughts are prayers are with you during this difficult time. It was a very courageous decision to make - our priority always has to be their comfort and happiness though the difficulty of the aftermath lies with us.
Much love,

Talk about inspawrational, he was truly amazing, and we think about him often. He will always be in our hearts, and remain as a heroic example of how amputation can really be such a gift for those of us dogs who aren't ready to go on to other cosmic assignments just yet.
P.S. My Mamma says "stay tuned" as there will be a special Finnegan tribute coming up shortly (yeah yeah, I know, she's really behind on things these days!).
We love you.
Your friend,
Jerry

I am so sorry for the loss of Finny. I just want you to know how much his story gave me the strength and hope to have hope with Titan. I read his blog and I am so happy you had 2 good years with him. What a wonderful gift. He helped other dog and dog owners keep going. We want to thank you for helping us. Please know your family and Finny are in our prayers.

I'm so sorry to hear of Finny's passing. His story (and his visit with Jerry) was one of the first things I read when I came across Jerrys Blog back in October of last year and I was inspired and encouraged by Finny (and his people of course) because of Finny's size.
Our thoughts are with you.
Night night Finnegan.
