Thank you all so much for the support and wisdom over the last 5 months.
Charlie is now running free at the rainbow bridge, probably checking out all the other dogs private parts and getting hissed and swatted at by the spirit cats.
I love my brave, strong boy and I can't wait for the time when we are together again.
Thank you all again,
Tammy and spirit Charlie

I'm so very sorry Tammy. It's so heartbreaking. Life has a funny way of giving you the right answers but I sure wished it wasn't this one.
Charlie will always have a special place in my heart since I got to know him a little bit better through his pictures. I am glad for it.
I know you how hurt you are right now and just know we are all here for you.
Warms hugs to you,
Ge'Lena

You know I'm not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. Here is a link to pictures of our last day:
Thank you all so much, again! I'm actually doing pretty well as we know this was the right choice. His absolute frustration at his body not doing what he wanted it to do was too much. We know his spirit body is doing everything he wants it to do and for that I am grateful. I am also so blessed to have had him this summer as a tripawd. He ran and played and was very much a puppy all summer long. 4 months of bliss that can't be taken away from us. I wouldn't change it for the world! All of you were so instrumental in making that happen and supporting us through it.
Blessings to all of you for touching our lives.
I am somewhat of a hoarder/buyer, thus I will be putting stuff on the Angel Exchange next month. Pills, pills and more pills along with K-9 immunity , harnesses and what not. There is a place called Home for Life ( http://www.home.....ife.org/ ) close by that might be able to use the supplies too (especially the ones that can't be shipped).
Thank you again for your support and give your furry ones a hug from me.

Dear Tammy,
I am so sorry for your loss. It is heartbreaking and although you know that you are doing the right thing it doesn't make the ache go away. I have made an appointment for Tai to cross to the Bridge tomorrow as the cancer has now appeared in one of her remaining legs, so I hope she can run up to Charlie and they can swap stories about us and what great lives they enjoyed. Thinking of you, remembering Charlie, and sending big hugs your way.
Laura
Tai – 9 yr old lab. Diagnosed Osteosarcoma Dec 18/09. Front right leg amputated Dec 21/09. Started chemo Jan 7/10. Lung mets discovered Sept 16/10. Valiant to the end on Oct 26/10 when cancer reappeared in a leg and we made the decision to set her free. Forever in my heart where not even cancer can take her from me.
I am very sorry it was time for Charlie's journey to end. You are wise to be able to acknowledge the 4 great months you had as a blessing. Charlie touched the lives of all he touched. We are all better folks for having had the pleasure to meet him through cyber-space. Sending you gentle hugs as you face this challenging day. Charlie will forever be in our hearts with the other tripawd heros who have gone before.
RIP sweet Charlie. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

Tammy,
I am so sad to read that Charlie's journey has come to an end. You were so strong in being able to make the last loving decision to release Charlie from his sick body. Tonight he runs whole again.
Rest in Peace Charlie, you will be missed by all of us.

Tammy, our deepest condolences, we are so very sorry. He fought so courageously and you did everything you could to help him. How wonderful indeed that you got to spend such a glorious summer together.
Our brains know that they are out of pain, but our hearts still grieve for their loss. It's so hard, but may the memories you shared together bring comfort to you right now and always.
Charlie, you'll sure be missed around here but we know you won't be far. Watch over us OK?

Tammy and Spirit Charlie,
Words cannot describe just how sorry we are to hear the Charlie's journey has come to an end, but hope that you can accept our deepest sympathy at this time. I can only echo the words of Brett and Fortis of just how brave Charlie was during that journey and the love that you shared was so very obvious. It may be of little consulation now, but you must know that you did every thing possible for Charlie and you gave the man an excellent life. I too am living for the day when I can join my warriors but please know that you will never totally be without Charlie, for the gifts that he gave you will live with you forever. Know that many of us know exactly what you are going through just now and will be here if we can ever be of support or help during this time.
With your permission, we will lift a toast for the life that Charlie lived, for the love he gave, and for the devotion you shared. I know that you feel blessed that he passed through YOUR life.
Spirit Cherry's Dad
Tammy,
I'm so very sorry for your loss of Charlie. He's running free and healthy now on all four legs....
Hugs to you and your family,
Tracy & Maggie
Maggie was amputated for soft tissue sarcoma 10-20-09
Maggie lost her battle with kidney disease on 8-24-13
Tammy,
It is very comforting to know that we made the right decision at the right time. The coming days may be difficult as the quiet of an empty house sets in. Even though I still had a pug at home that first night was very quiet.
You have gained so much strength and perspective on life during your journey with Charlie. He will be missed, but soon the memories will bring smiles (most of the time).
Wishing peace to you tonight.
Karen
Tammy,
I'm so very sorry to read about Charlie. He is a true tripawd hero all the way and we feel very lucky to have gotten to know him. Heaven and the Rainbow Bridge are very lucky today too. I wish you much peace and strength during this very difficult time. What a beautiful boy. My heart goes out to you. My deepest condolences.
Kami (Mackenzie & Kobe's Mom)
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
