My Dear Angel Abby,
If you can hear me, please know that I did love you, not just LIKE but LOVE. I did love you a TON! TONS and TONS and TONS! And I did want to be your best friend because you were cute and we were the same age and we liked the same things...TOYS! You weren't really ScAbby (except for that time when you were really scabby).
I already miss you. But I know you are going to make doggie heaven a better place just like you made my world.
Goodbye Abby.
Love,
Monkeybutt Bunny Vampire Pirate - Rocket
I know I stole a lot of pictures from you, but this is and will always be my favorite.
Oh Jackie, we have no words--others have already said it better. Just tears and howls. Sending all our love to you tonight.
Shine on sweet Abby, Tripawd Warrior Princess Extraordinaire. Your story and bright bright spirit will continue to inspire tripawds everywhere, forever.

Oh no - this is such heartbreaking news. Jackie & Mike, I'm so, so sorry to hear about your beautiful Abby girl.
She truly had a beautiful life with you, living only as a Tripawd Warrior Princess can - she lived life to the fullest.
Go swiftly and free sweetest Angel Tripawd Warrior Princess Abby.
You were so loved and are so loved.
Biggest huggs surrounding you both,
Joanne & Lylee
xoxo

I am so sorry to hear about your baby girl. I know your hearts are breaking, but broken hearts do eventually heal. Eventually, happy memories fill up the gaping holes. You gave Abby a gift by helping her find her wings (which I'm sure look a beautiful on her as the pink cape.)
Hugs,
Lisa, Ranger Athena and Spirit Sadie (who is always looking for someone to play with)
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

Oh Jackie,
My heart just sank when I read this news. I'm so so sad and so so sorry. I'm at a loss for words. I really thought you had more time with your sweet Abby - she loved life and loved you so much and it was so obvious by the pictures and stories you shared. What a beautiful angel, beautiful gift of life - heaven sure did get lucky tonight. My heart goes out to you and your family. My deepest condolences.

My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
Oh, dear! What a shock this morning to read this. Like so many others, I am just heartbroken to hear this news.
Abby touched so many lives because you did an amazing job spreading her joy and love of life throughout this community. So few of us were lucky enough to meet her in person, but we all feel like we knew her. And we all mourn her loss.
I will be thinking of you in the days ahead. I know they will be tough.
Sending my warmest, more comforting thoughts your way.

Jackie and Mike,
I am so very sorry for your loss. Abby was one of the most beautiful dogs I have ever seen and a true fighter. I smiled every single time I saw a photo of her and she was truly an inspiration to us. Thank you for sharing her journey with us. Wishing you peace and strength through this most difficult time.
Lisa
Zeus was a Husky mix diagnosed with Osteosarcoma at age 11. A visible lung met and suspicious spot on his liver meant a poor prognosis-six weeks was our vet's best guess. We decided to fight for our boy and his right front leg was amputated on 12/1/11. We did six rounds of chemo, changed his diet and spoiled him completely rotten. We were blessed with 10 great months after diagnosis. Against the odds, the lung met remained a single met and grew very little over those months. A wonderful furbaby with the most gentle spirit, he fought with a strength that we never imagined he possessed. We have no regrets...

a perfect banner for a perfect warrior princess!!!
Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.
Love Never Ends
My heart goes out to you. So very, very sorry for your loss.
Hugs,
Geraldine & Spirit Jewels
Jewels was a gorgeous Lab-Shep mix that found us at the pet rescue when she was just 3 months old. Born June 2000; Diagnosed OSA on June 1, 2011; L-front Amputation September 12, 2011; Crossed Rainbow Bridge December 30, 2011. My "baby dog" will always be in my heart. Now she is running fast and free on all four legs after the rabbits and squirrels! Jewels was loved by her crazy-busy mom, even-keeled dad, pesky twin human brothers and monkeydog sister Aspen. Read about Jewels' Tripawd Journey here.
We LOVE the banner! It's so beautiful - just like our girl! It's absolutely perfect. The beach and belly rubs were her favorite things.
Thanks to everyone for all the wonderful messages and good thoughts and prayers. It's amazing how words and pictures of our girl have touched people. I wish you all could have met her. If you think she was special "on the page" - you should have seen her in real life!!
I'll update her blog at some point and tell a little more about her last day. She went happy and surrounded by love.
Jackie & Mike
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman.
