I'm so sorry to read about Chaser. I'll keep you in my heart and prayers. Words are failing me...
Sending lots of hugs,
Susan
Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

I am in shock...I logged in today to get an update on Chaser, and I saw this post. This is such sad news
I am so very sorry for your loss.
I wish you and your family lots of love, and remember, Chaser no longer feels pain and has all the tennis balls she can handle up there!
God bless you
Brandy and family
I was devastated to read the headline of this post. What a horrible shock. It is so unfair. I will always remember the photo of Chaser with the multiple tennis balls and think that she must have had such a happy happy life. She looks like a dog who truly enjoyed everything. Please post a tribute to Chaser when you feel up to it, I would love to know more about her. Once again I'm so very sorry for your tragic loss. Run free pain free at Rainbow Bridge Chaser and keep catching those tennis balls!!
Deepest sympathy,
Laura
Tai – 9 yr old lab. Diagnosed Osteosarcoma Dec 18/09. Front right leg amputated Dec 21/09. Started chemo Jan 7/10. Lung mets discovered Sept 16/10. Valiant to the end on Oct 26/10 when cancer reappeared in a leg and we made the decision to set her free. Forever in my heart where not even cancer can take her from me.
I'm so sorry to hear about Chaser. What a beautiful girl she was. My Oscar passed away a week ago today. He also died 48 hrs after his amputation. I know what you mean about the shock. I was already grieving the loss of his leg but never ever did I expect to be grieving the loss of his life. I had read everything, bought tons of rubber backed rugs to make it easier for him to get around on our hardwood floors, bought a ramp for our SUV....But never did I expect him not to make it.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!

I am so sorry for your loss of Chaser. There have been too many Goldens departing from us recently. From what you've written of Chaser, I am certain that Skyler is having alot of fun playing with her. Skyler will always be in our hearts, as Chaser will be in your's. Please keep us posted on how you're doing.
Sending lots of hugs!
