Hi Kim, Congratulations to you and Buster for his 6 mos ampuversary! He is sooo beautiful!!! Sadly, Abbey didn't quite make it to 5 mos post op before it was time to leave, but she ran and played again and had no pain until the last few weeks. May Buster be like Jerry and be here for years to come~ Whether a month or 22 mos, amputation really is the best choice for our dogs to live their life out without the pain of osteosarcoma. Enjoy every day with him. di
Hi Kim & Buster!
Wow, what a difference that amputation made for that sweet dog. In the first video you could just tell that right front leg was really painful for him. Now, he's just like a bouncing baby boy! That is so thoughtful of you to share this with us. It should give people hope that amputation isn't the end of the world; it's the beginning of a new life.

Dearest Spirit Jerry, Jim & Rene,
I wanted to get back to the orginal topic of this thread and it has indeed been a very sad last few days at tripawds.com. Thank dog though you have this group for people so they can have the support of others who understand their pain, and or their joy as the case may be. You are some of the most thoughtful people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and I am glad to be a part of your forums and blogs. Thank you for everything you do to help others.
Love, Vicki, Blazer & Kitty Kimber
Awwww shucks girlfriend, you make us blush!
This place would be nothing without the wonderful support of contributions of good humans like yourself. Thank you my friend!

This has truly been a sad day for me to read about so many of our friends that passed away. I thank everyone on tripawds for sharing their stories and touching our lives by setting such a wonderful example for everyone out there with pets that have special needs. You are all an inspiration to me and I appreciate the time & effort that you are putting into making this such a wonderful place to visit.
It is very comforting to know that when Dee's day comes to go to the bridge, that you will all be there for me too.
Lots of love, Ansunette & Dee xx
Dearest Ausunette & Dee,
Yes, we will definitely be here for you when Dee's time does come. That's the most beautiful thing about this website, that we all share in happiness and sadness. The support from everyone here is truly amazing. And, of course, we hope that Dee's time to cross over the bridge will be a long time away. We are sending pawsitive thoughts and keeping our paws crossed in prayer for Dee & his family.

Thank you very much for your message and positive thoughts and prayers. I shared the news with my family last night and they are all very sad to hear about our beloved friends' passing...
Lots of love and lots of licks,
Ansunette & Dee xxx
Today is a mixed day for me. I had not seen this thread until today but I guess my tears are not so much for sadness but being grateful that this site exist and that all of you are part of it. First my tears were of sadness for all the tripawds that have passed on and then my tears were of happiness to see that Charlie Brown was back and doing well. What joy that brings me as Charlie Brown and Kellie had their ampusurgery like maybe a week apart back in April. Kellie kept asking about Charlie B to see how he was doing and she sure is super duper happy to know that Charlie B is doing so well. Ansunette never doubt whether we will be here for you or not, because we will. This site besides providing us with lots and lots of great information, it has provided us with love, support and the great friends! Pawsitive vibes and prayers to all tripawds out there.....NGU!!!!!
Kellie
The thing is, when it comes to mourning the loss of your Tripawd, it's always so bittersweet for humans, isn't it? If your pup has crossed the Bridge, you cry because you miss him or her dearly, but then you also cry because what an honor it was to live with such a heroic critter!
Whenever you feel tears coming on, try to do like Kellie, and remember that tears don't always have to be due to sadness, you can change the feelings around and turn those tears into happy tears. Just replace that sadness in your mind with joy in your heart for all of the wonderful times you shared.
And of course, you can always come here to share them with everyone else. Spread the love my friends, spread the love.

Jerry & Kellie: The above is a wonderful way to deal with your feelings. Thanks for your wisdom.
