Great, go and scare new members into thinking their posts were getting lost! winker

To clarify, some posts were being hidden from the likes of Monkeybutt. And, we hope to have addressed the issue once and for all.

How do I add "friends" to my blog?  I'm going through the tutorials, but don't see how to do that and can't figure it out.

Is there a way to add a photo album section or is that just part of the upgrade, the one you pay for?  I just see how I can add thumbnail photos within a post.

you can add friends using the 'friends' button in the admin section.  you search for them, using their login names (which can be different from their blog names)..it took us a while to figure out stuff, as we are luddites.  pictures can be uploaded to your media library, then you can use that library as a source for pictures in your blog (that's how we do it).  the regular blog does all of this, the supporter blog gives you more capacity and other add-ons.  good luck!!

Here's the post with complete details about adding Tripawds friends. Visit the Friends tab in your dashboard to search for and add friends. then go to Appearance -> Widgets and drag the friends widget to the desired position in your sidebar.

All Tripawds blogs have access to the native WordPress Gallery function. When uploading images directly from the post editor, they all become associated with that post. You can then either insert them as thumbnails, in a gallery, or at full size. Once inserted into your post at full size, photos can be resized and postioned as you wish. Many Tripawds bloggers have chosen to create a Photos Page, to create a album like you suggest.

There is no video tutorial for the Friends function but you will find step by step instructions for managing photos, posts, links, and most other WordPress blog functions. If you have further questions, feel free to search and/or ask in the Tech Support forum.

Thanks everyone.

Pippin took her first steps today on our bedroom carpet.  She is 5 days post surgery. She ate some today.  Didn't eat yesterday.  Peed again, thank goodness.  She gets her pain patch replaced this evening.  Poor thing, it is stapled to her. She also developed overnight a spot next to her stitches that looks like a cyst and it is oozing some so I made an appt. with the vet to see her instead of just a technician.  We also get our results of the fatty tumor she had replaced 5 days ago too. Nervous about those results because vet was concerned about the consistency the tumor was.  Initially earlier this year the needle sample the vet looked at showed it to be just a fatty tumor.

Good luck with your vet appt. Is it tomorrow? Pippin sounds to be recovering
nicely. Paws crossed.

This may just be a seroma. Swelling and bruising around the incision site are perfectly normal, and a bit od leakage can sometimes be expected. Sounds like Pippin is doing well, thanks for the update.

Pippin's appt. went well.  BENIGN FATTY TUMOR – YAY!  She also had her pain patch removed and they didn't put another one on.  She is still taking Carprofen and Baytril.  As far as the new cyst like spot, the vet said it wasn't an infection but probably an irritated from rubbing or suture irritation.  We are to put warm compresses on it a couple times a day and she is already on an antibiotic (baytril).  Pippin got some attention in the waiting room from a couple young kids.  I had her wrapped in a blanket and was careful that her incision area was not visible.  They thought she was a puppy.  Which I'm used to people saying that because she is a Papillon and they always look like puppies.  I just told them she broke her leg and that was it.  Didn't want them to see the area I guess since it's so raw looking still and they were young kids.

We went and got her one of those blow up collars to use instead of the cone.  So much better.  She can move her head more comfortable. It's perfect.  Plus now when she is in her kennel when I am sleeping I don't have to worry about the cone catching on anything.  We also picked up some baby food.  She didn't want any tonight, so I'll try in the morning again with that.  She peed again tonight.  So that was two times today.  She has only been peeing once a day since she broke her leg 3 1/2 weeks ago

Pippin stood on three legs to drink out of a water bowl that was sitting on the floor.  She also hopped several steps outside in the grass.  Not eating much at all.  Doesn't like the baby food.  Just seems to like boiled chicken with chicken broth, but only took a few small pieces today.  Still no poopie, but peed twice today again.

How long do they stay on pain killers and antibiotics?  She gets her stitches out Tuesday, which will be 10 days.
