GRINNING EAR TO EAR OVER HERE! 🙂 Such a happy and fun video of tripawds and quadpawds enjoying being dogs.
Had me laughing out @oud as Tank dug in with his back legs and marked his territory with such gusto and confidence!
Still grinning! Love Tank and pack!

On October 27, 2016, nearly 6 months after amputation, and 18 months since his cancer likely started, we lost Pofi to a recurrence of Soft Tissue Sarcoma in his spine quite suddenly. Â His canine sister also succumbed to cancer on March 1, 2019 - we lavished her with our love in the interim, but life was never quite the same without her only real canine friend. Cliff kitty had to leave us, too, suddenly, in August 2019. Lucia kitty grieved all these losses, but helped us welcome two new Lurchers into our home and our lives, Shae and Barley.
Aww Tank is so fun to watch! He must really enjoy getting around now and being with his pack.
Keep a close eye on him so he doesn't overdo things. It's always wise to make a Tripawd take breaks during long walks and playtime so there are no set-backs or injuries.
Give him a big hug from us!

I went to take tanks girls to the cane farms yesterday for a run and I was gong to leave him home as he had been going for a run and picking up his fitness every day this week but as soon as I picked up the keys he wouldn't back down he wanted to go no matter what so we ended up down there i put his tracker on him as he has a tendency to go far and wide down there so just incase I wanted to know where he was if he took off which he didn't but he absolutely had a ball he ended up doing 2.29 Klm at 5.9 Klm an hour or 1.4mile at 3.6milr an hour he was happy to be there you could see the smile on him and we took a few breaks in between and he had a lay in some puddles to cool down where he wanted to.When we got home he had the the happy strut going and was full of beans so at dinner time all the dogs do tricks before dinner I haven't asked him to do any since he has been home as I didn't think it was fair on him but as he is always first fed he sat and then threw his paw up to shake so I'm glad i took him down there it helped him mentally and was a good confidence booster so he has been shaking his paw since he wasn't sore this morning just a bit sleepy from the endep this afternoon he was getting back to the old tank being hard headed and demanding everything he wants and forcing his way inside he's learnt to open the door again and butt his way through the baby gate so here is a video of tank shaking he is still inside refusing to go out but I will let him get away with it he's no trouble.
Ohh so cute! He has very strong core muscles if he can sit up like that so soon after surgery. That boy is FIT!

Tank now at 4 weeks his wounds are all healed now and his fur is starting to grow back he's been a rat lately we took him to the pet expo in the weekend he faired well it was hot and a lot of dogs were there so it was a good socialisation for him to relearn how to be around other dogs he was fine with the butt sniffing that was going in but I could tell he would get upset when another dog went near his amputation and a lot of people that were there are not up to scratch with dog etiquette and introduction so when another unaware owners dog would go to sniff at his amputation I was putting a bag in between to break contact and move on with out confrontation as we all know unfortunately not all people are careful minded we lasted about 2 hours and tank was starting to fatigue so a few rests and drinks we took him home it was a big day for him here is a video I took of him again at the borrow pits.
Super speedy~!!!! he looks great!Â
Shelby Lynne; Jack Russell/Shiba Inu mix. Proud member of the April Angels of 2014.
October 15, 2000 to April 8, 2014
Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
We are in love with your boy, he is soooooo cute and hops so elegantly and effortlesslyÂ
Don't be surprise if he gets a love letter from Eurydice in the postÂ
